Grown Ups, good movie. It was one of those movies where, "All the funny parts were used in the trailers".

And now I'm about to watch 2012, which I've seen a ton, but it's still good.

Just got back from watching "The A-Team" at the cheap theater. Yup, definitely worth watching again.

Unlike movies like "Starsky & Hutch," "The Brady Bunch," and "Charlie's Angels," it doesn't feel like you're watching a movie that's based on a TV show. It's like watching a hysterical action film that just happens to have the same characters as a much beloved program.

i saw tandem movies yesterday. Inception which was a great action thriller but there were some inconsistancies which i will bring up in that thread. and I also saw Cyrus. It was less funny then I expected but it was a nice wholesome movie.

Just got done watching Holes. I started singing their rap the other day and had to watch it. It wouldn't leave me alone.

Little Shia Labeouf was a good actor. I feel like reading the book now.

Just got back from watching "Prince of Persia" at the cheap theater.

So predictable.

It's pretty much "Aladdin" with the royal lineage conspiracy of "The Lion King," with the character design and settings from "Assassin's Creed."

So I've watched "The 5th Element" 3 times this past week. It was constantly on the Canadian DIY channel between craft and recycling furniture shows.

It had been a long time since the last time I saw it otherwise, but now that I've seen it again more recently I've come to the realization that the fifth element is love. She needs to be loved in order to unleash the ultimate weapon.

Astonishingly the ultimate weapon wasn't Captain Planet when you think of it that way.

Just got back from watching "Machete." I liked it a lot, but I think you might have had to be a fan of "Grindhouse" to really get into it. I mean, it's an all right action film on its own, but you get a better experience out of it if you're into Robert Rodriguez's other movies.

Did he actually announce that? I mean, Hobo with a Shotgun was amusing, but I think that was a contest winner or something.

I'd be interested to see the half-hour long "Werewolf Women of the SS" that Rob Zombie made that he was so pained to have to edit down.

I do believe he said he was remaking it but, don't hold me to anything. I'm also very excited for Werewolf Women of the S.S.

Just got back from seeing "The Last Airbender" in the cheap theater. It didn't suck.

Frankly, most of the people who've been bitching about the fact that it's not exactly like the cartoon really need to find something better to do with their time.

I have t agree with Spammy, the movie wasn't faithful at all. the asian kids were white and everyone else was eskimo. They changed names, changed how the firebenders worked, cut out major plot points, and *drumroll* they're planning on making two to three more! M. Night is dead to me.

Have I ever told you that you were crazy?

I think the movie *could* have been good if they kept it closer to the cartoon.

On top of what Vince said, most of the goddamn story was missing! In most things, I know this is going to happen. However, these were vital plot scenarios.

Plus, the Earthbenders were made horribly as well.

There were much shittier movies than this released recently. "Vampires Suck," "Jonah Hex," and "Prince of Persia" to name a few.

While the pronunciations were annoying, it's obvious they had to cut things for time. The plotline with the princess was probably the most irritating. You only see her maybe 20 minutes, it's no great tragedy that she has to give up her life so the spirit can live.

And gotta love the fact that even Katara went, "Aang's been captured ... again!"

Ethnicity complaints are another thing. I mean, I get it. I've made the same arguments in the past, but casting's over. The movie's made.

We went through this when "Memoirs of a Geisha" came out. Oh no, the Japanese characters were played by Chinese women.

I stand by the statement. It didn't suck.
