Our weather is pretty much at it's most "Go fuck yourself" yet. Ridiculously hot and stupid humid.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Yup, still this. I work near the coast and it's frequently 80+ percent humidity all day. My hair didn't stand a chance.

I'm just glad I found some solutions to fight off the bugs in my apartment. Hasn't been nearly as bad this year as it was last year.

Seriously though yeah, felt like I could have gotten heat stroke today after my shift, just merely walking to and from my car to leave work and get in my house.

Oh god, the bugs. We've got flies, fleas, and ants.

And yeah, heat stroke. I've nearly been there before.

Whenever I take the clients for walks these days, I give them water after. Some of them reject the water, saying it's going to make them pee and they don't want to have to pee. I'm concerned there are staff who get fed up with taking their clients to the bathroom and are not giving them water for that reason.

If I remember right you have some pets, so this might not be a good idea at all but I got this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CZC27UW/

This stuff seems super heavy duty, most reviewers talking about how they use it out in the jungle for tents or something haha. But I used it for indoor use, basically just sprayed down the edges of my floors and walls, the outside and inside of my front door, then sprayed a light layer across the carpet everywhere while I went out for it to dry. I was seeing some carpet beetles pop up, even had a cricket inside once, and spiders, but now nothing. I've still seen a spider or two on the walls but I imagine they're coming from above or something.

Kind of crazy but I bought it on July 6th, so one time use and a month and a half later my place still seems bullet proof.

Sadly though yeah, I think it's really toxic and might not be safe for cats and stuff, but I'm not sure.

Sudden heavy rains with thunder and lightning. Of course it happens when I have to drive my parents to the airport and then sit in traffic with people nearly hitting me all over the damn place.

I love the rain. LOOOOOOVE IT. But yeah, the ONE time we get rain and it's making my life suck.

Yeah, those are the type of tires I'd want. I definitely can't be upgrading tires all the time haha, so something that works good for years is ideal.

Well, it's FINALLY cold and rainy after an off-and-on sweltering autumn. I'm hoping it stays cold.

I plan to enjoy it for as long as it lasts. Though my cold tolerance is still high enough that I giggle at people going "OMG it is freezing"... no, it is freaking cold, but not freezing. The air, thankfully, does not hurt my face.

Been a bit warm lately... for Christmas/late December sake, but it does get a little windy and chilly after the sun goes down. I hate daylight savings! Wish KS wouldn't do it.

It was almost literally freezing at night this week. Of course no one's letting us turn on the heat.

Still, a few days ago, when it was 70 degrees I overheard two women complain it was chilly.

The weather has been super wacky here too for sure. Finally dropped down to below 20's the other night but I think it's warming back up to the 40's tomorrow. And cue my allergies and sleep being messed up because of the shifts.

It's been so cold and windy on night's we've gone out. I've been recovering from a cold for days now. It'll feel like it's gone and then I'll be out in the frigid wind and suddenly my runny nose and icky throat are back. Uuuugh....

It's been really cold here. I know we're all going, "Well, yeah, it is Winter!" but I swear it's colder than usual. Then again, here I am complaining about walking around in 40 degree mornings whilst the middle of the country is literally frozen.

On another note, I took my clients on an all-day trip to the L.A. County Natural History Museum and my co-worker threw a fit saying it was too cold to eat outside and took some of the clients and sat in the stuffy cafe. It was 67 degrees out.
