| Let's just say, I'm in need of some ideas, keep in mind I live in a small town in the middle of Nebraska. Close to nowhere actually fun. We usually spend our nights together watching movies, goin putt putt golf, and/or eating dinner somewhere. Sometimes we go out with friends. She's on vacation with her family til Monday, and let's just say I want to welcome her home with a nice romantic night. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a small little gift (bear or inexpensive jewelry), cooking her some dinner, and maybe going for a walk or sitting by a bonfire... what you guys think? | |||

| High school relationships are commonly just used as status to say I'm going out with so and so. For status. That is all.

| There are much better jobs out there Xeo. I was a laborer for four years and now have seen the light. Right now I'm working 7-4 everyday, behind a computer updating drawings and browsing the internet on down time, and make 9 an hour. So things will get better, I hated my previous job as a laborer, so hopefully you find something more suiting for you. | |||

| It seemed like just yesterday I could sit down, and play video games all day without any other worry in the world.
The fact that my parents were married at the age I am now, creeps the living daylights out of me. I honestly can't see how they were ready for such a commitment at such a early age. Sometimes I doubt they were. I mean, I'm madly in love with a girl, but I honestly don't think I'm ready for a lifelong commitment, not for another year or so anyway. And I'm overly emotionally mature for my age... Sometimes I wonder if my parents only got married because of me. I was born two months after my parents got married, and honestly, the way they fight now, it baffles me how they could of ever been in love. At 18, I'm free to do what I want in the world. I could stay in town and not go to school and work at Burger King for the rest of my life if I so desired. I could go to college and get my degree in whatever and all that good stuff. Actually, if I really wanted to, I could live on the streets for the rest of my life living off other peoples' trash. I guess it just kinda creeps me out that the decisions I make now, could and will have a great impact on the rest of my life. Now I guess I'll tell you what I plan on doing with the rest of my life. I'm going to college to get my degree in Computer Engineering, where I'll be free pretty much to work on anything in the computer world. I'd love to someday get married to the lovely young lady I'm in a relationship with right now, settle down someday, live in a nice house (that I want to design and have a part in the building since I have experience doing both already), and someday have a couple kids but only when I'm able to financially give them adequate support, unlike I ever had. I guess that's the end of my rambling, feel free to tear it apart or praise it. |

Just to let you know, I managed to squeeze in the most important parts of the evening for her since we had only two hours (she had to work  ). Overall, I think she loved that I did so much for her, I bought her favorite type of ice cream and we shared that, we roasted marshmellows, and etc. Then she said that things always seem so great and no matter what we do together, no matter what comes up, things always work out for the best. I really hope things continue to go well between me and her, cause I love her so much. |

Just bought their CD the other day, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Someone was saying they are Christian Rock, but honestly I don't see what's so christian about them. This song reminds me of my girlfriend for some reason. Don't ask. |

| I personally feel that patience will get you what you want, yet being too patient can ruin your chances at things also.
Case in point, baseball. If you wait for your pitch sure you'll get a big hit, but not swinging at other pitches that are strikes will eventually strike you out. Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Patience has been good to me. I never longed to be in relationships, I always figured they'd come to me. And sure as hell one did, and I'm loving myself for waiting for her. |

Personally I like The Ataris version of it better. But overall it's still a great song. I love the lyrics, and it's just a catchy tune. The Ataris has a bit more of a modern sound to it so that's probably why I like it better. |

| I'm terrified of losing her. Terrified. The thought of not being with her brings me to tears. Honestly without her I don't know what I would do. Maybe it's just me being a little to clingy and protective, but I've never felt this close to a girl before, and just being with her brings a certain happiness to me. Everyday I feel myself getting closer and closer to her, and I don't want her to be growing away from me as I grow closer to her.
Gawd, why did all my other relationships have to be messed up. Without them, I wouldn't have all these doubts in my mind. But I've been fucked over way to many times and I'm hoping it doesn't happen this time. I just needed to get this out. Don't feel any need to reply. |
