I've been taking her out day in and day out. She's doing okay. But Wednesday she wants to go to the girl's funeral. She wanted me to come along, but I can't do that. Honestly, my mom freakin yelled at me for saying I don't want to go to my grandfather's funeral/memorial when I was in basic. So yeah... She's got a ride and she's going with one of her close friends.

Well I do agree with Nagis's reasoning.
Though I bet she'd feel a little better if you let her know that she had another shoulder to cry on. Show her that she also has other friends around her that can help, too. You know? Maybe you could also help distract her for a little bit by going to see a movie or something with a bunch of other people that are good friends to both of you. |

Really there isnt much anyone could do in a situation like that. Reflecting is possiably the only action that is forced, and must take at a time such as loosing a friend.

My sis lost one her best friends, and you know... I didn't lose a best friend, just someone I liked well and yeah... ANYWAY I have no clue how to help her other than let mom hug her and comfort her. Not like I can do anything ANYWAY. |
