Rogue brought up a good point. Whenever I get strepthroat, I shower like 50 bajillion times a day. Strepthroat always freaks me the hell out cuz the mucus just keeps building up and I feel like I'm suffocating sometimes. I'm not basing this off of professional opinion or anything, but that's what showers helped me the most with. It kept my throat feeling moist and it didn't hurt so much to get rid of the mucus.
Drinking tea works too.  I always drink tea after the showers and would feel better to the point where I could at least be able to relax and fall asleep or something. |

Drink some Vodka is you have any / If your parents will let you. I never had what you had because im very cautious in that area.
But anyways, Vodka is great because not only does it taste good (to me), but the alcohol kills the bacteria in your throat. Just dont drink too much, or else your throat will be sensitive enough to where you cant breathe. |

Drink hot/warm tea (Jasmine is good, but use whatever your favorite kind is. Black and oolong are good too), however you like it. But to sweeten, use the most natural honey you can find, and put a little bit of lemon juice into it. Enough juice so that it's got some in it, but not too much to where the tea tastes bad. (Hotter the tea, the more you can add without the bad taste, and add more honey too) Hope that helps you At least it helps with the pain, and the honey helps make it get better a bit sooner.

Well what helped me is taking small drinks of water carefully and often. And whenever you're hungry then eat very watery soup that has little you have to swallow. Also a bunch of rest. Though I usually get over being sick really easy so I hope that helps.

I can only recommend gargling hot (or very warm) salt water and showering frequently.
Those were the ways I've fought of strep without getting meds. Taking things like Airborne (of Airshield, the generic version in many stores) helps boost immunity, but I don't know about with strep. Good luck. |

I recommend some cough medicines like halls and a cup of hot lemon tea.
Even works for asthma conditions too. I suffer from asthma rarely. |

yes... it is. It starts out as a sore throat and then it begins to get infected and stuff like that and you wind up with mucus on your throat and it pusses up and... oy... it's awful.. I'm going through the beginning of it.  |

I have the beginnings of strep throat. I've been doing the following:
gargling salt water taking sudephed. Anything else? hot soup or something? |
