I didn't even watch it from TV links that much. However, I did watch one of the asian drama shows but too bad they no longer have it. |

I just realized he's actually in england, so he'll be tried differently than in America. If he was American, he'd be finem but since he's in England, he could be in a bit of trouble.

I never thought they could actually prosecute him, but what annoys me is how because TV Links was "a thorn in the sides of production companies" it's OK to take legal action if only to make an example of him.
Reminds me of the guy at the Kerry forum who was tazered for asking controversial questions. It was his right to do it and he wasn't violent, but because they didn't like what he was asking or insinuating arresting him was an acceptable thing to do. It's absurd. |

He won't even get to a jury.
I've done a bit of research, and there is absolutely nothing illegal about giving a link to illegal content. Only if TV Links was actually hosting the content could it be in trouble, and even then probably not for that long of a sentence. His case will get thrown out of court, but TV Links will stay down. Doesn't really matter to me though, TVLinks was going downhill anyway. |

If you didn't know, TV Links was shut down yesterday. They were shut down for LINKING to videos hosted on other sites. TV Links doesn't/didn't host pirated videos.
So by this logic all of us can be arrested just for posting YouTube videos. Xeo, quick! Shut down, Video Hut before they catch us!!!
