I made $40 in tips my first day, $23 in my first shift then the rest when I came back in two hours. I made $18 today, which is supposed to be the "slow" day of the week. I'm enjoying tips quite a lot and my customers love me already! While leery of me at first, my boss Judy is starting to brag to everybody on how fast of a learner that I am and that I don't talk back to her like everybody else, which is awesome because I've never received one iota of recognition for my skills at my other jobs. I still have a lot to learn but it's working out very nicely!
As far as XBL is concerned, I may or may not be on again soon, it all depends on whether I get anything worth playing (well, I want to play my copy of COD:MW2 really badly...) and if Scott's family doesn't mind me hooking my stuff up everywhere, I've already got my computer and guitar here, I don't want to really intrude. I'll definitely have it up somewhere in a few months but we'll just save it till then. |

Nice! I'm glad to hear you've got such a lucrative job... hope you're squirreling some of that away instead of putting it all towards WoW.
Heh, apparently "squirreling" is actually a word, I forgot an r and it came up for spell check. Neat. |

(no idea why) But yeah that's excellent news. If it's a Chinese restaurant then hey, sounds like you could walk out with good tips compared to other places. |

After what seems to be ages of searching, I finally got employed at a local Chinese restaurant as a waiter! I just had my second day today and made about $40 in tips! I'm so happy that I could cry right now but instead I think I'll play some WoW... |
