Man, that sucks about having your work reposted like that. Isn't that illegal? Like, even if I were admitting that it wasn't mine, but not sourcing the original author/owner, isn't that illegal?
I don't blame you for being "parinoid" about it though. Wouldn't even call it parinoid, just smart. Whether it's us you're distrusting or not is even irrelevant, considering anything can search the content of this board. **shrugs** |

So, if you haven't noticed, I've had a recent wave of paranoia of having my intellectual property stolen, so I've removed most of my literary work from the Story Realm.
I'm not deleting my posts at all, I'm just editing them and removing their content. As copyright/creative commons holder to my work of fiction and non-fiction, I feel wholly endowed to do whatever I want with my work. But, I'm not deleting posts at all. I am merely editing my posts, replacing them with reasons (although vague) of why I took down stories, and asking my threads be closed. I'd leave stories up longer and even repost, but few ever post any sort of comment to them anymore, so I stopped posting my work. If I'm not going to get any sort of feedback from anyone (other than Elara) then there's no real point to posting or even keeping my work on here. And I can't trust the work being safe on here, or anyone respecting anything for that matter. But, that's just in general about the web. Not that I think my stories are so awesome that they're being ripped off, but I've already had a few incidents this year with people reposting my novel-in-progress elsewhere without permission. Anyway, I'm not deleting threads (Cairoi), I'm editing them and removing content. So...  |
