The more I look at this video, the more annoyed I am with it actually, especially since it keeps getting passed around Facebook like crazy.
Like I said, where was this thing 2 years ago when Prop 8 was getting voted on? In California, it's really trendy to bash on Prop 8 at the moment. People are just NOW making videos and doing photoshoots with duct tape covering their mouth and "NO H8" written on their cheeks and foreheads. These things would have actually been effective when there were impressionable people voting on this proposition, now it's in the hands of judges who are unaffected by these usually web-exclusive sentiments. |

I agree with Rogue, and Vince.
I'm all for gay marriage as well. I have no problem with them, and view them as I would any other people. I think the crap that the church and sort gives them is nonsense, and they should just let people live. I know this isn't about religion, but I will find it funny when religion is viewed as mythology. Greek religion is just mythology to us, and I'm sure Christianity and the sort will follow suit. The world just cracks me up. |

I thought this was so funny, since 1) this was made well AFTER the vote and 2) this is probably only preaching to the choir as only those who are anti-Prop 8 (a California specific measure) will see it.
I wonder why so many of these videos, photo projects, and so on are only coming out in the last year. I support gay rights completely, but where were these things when Prop 8 was going to be voted on? |
