Really pathetic. And it's not like the medium NEEDED more of this crap, people are going to be all over this for awhile I'm sure. Violent games cause everything! ... 
At least Jack Thompson isn't around anymore. But I almost miss that guy, he made himself look so stupid it was hilarious and nobody could take him seriously. |

Stitch is really into Slenderman, and sometimes comments on how Slenderman might appear if we do certain things. I'm not sure if he actually believes in Slenderman or not, but he takes the mythology pretty seriously.
Still, when I posted this article to him, even he remarked on how stupid and crazy these girls are. Of course, he was also more saying that killing the other girl doesn't even fit with Slendy's mythos. And, Light Knight, you're right. It's damn creepy. What concerned them more? Ending the life of an innocent person who thought them her best friends or that Slenderman didn't come? |

This article makes me glad that I'm not friends with a few certain people anymore. They were into Slenderman and weird occulty stuff like this, to the point of it being scary. |

What gets me is that the kids premeditated it, and then admit is was "probably wrong". That is just sick. It has nothing to do with the meme IMO, if it wasn't the slenderman, it would of been some other excuse. In another article, one of the girls explains that after they stabed her, she started getting up and walking, so they pushed her down and told her to lie still so that she would bleed less, but admits that she just wanted to her not to attack attention and just die. Just plain creepy. |

SOURCE As the subject line says, these two 12-year-olds attempted to murder another -- stabbing her 19 times -- to try to get Slenderman to appear to them and make them his servants (or something of the like). Yep, another internet meme has gotten WAY out of hand. Thoughts? |
