as far as i can tell i have been enjoying the funimation work... it takes no hardwork to make a bad anime... but they have made many good things through the years... so i don't want to knock them or anyone else... |

Funny thing is in Fruits Basket, I'd love to watch the subs, but there's a small down point. They really need to slow the subs down a bit. I mean I can't read THAT fast.  Ofcourse I watch dubs and subs. So I'm a fan of both. Pioneer has to be great.

hate them: they suck. 
Seriously, I'd much rather have almost any other Anime Licensing Company out there sub animes besides them (not including 4kids and stuff like that, be serious ).
So yeah ... but honestly I'm more of a fan for subs. But really, I get sick of hearing Gohan's voice in every single Funimation Licensed anime out there. |

I haven't really been to up-to-date with Funimation, so I can't tell whether they are getting better or not, bu tthe shows I have seen don't seem too bad. They may not be the best company out there, but they try, I guess. |

To be honest I thought that their downfall was the DBZ and Lupin series. I mean that's what they totally messed up on. The Yu Yu Hakusho series wasn't any better but they started getting a little better later on in the series. Full Metal Alchemist was one of their dubs that they really worked hard on. I mean you could really tell. Last of all Fruits Basket which actually got an award for the closest dubbing possible was actually done by them. Infact Kurama's voice from YYH is Shigure in Fruits Basket. Infact Fruits Basket is one of their only shojos too. The girl that did the voice for Chi Chi in the Dragon Ball series is the main character too. They actually did the best job matching up voices for Fruits Basket.
In FMA they did the same thing, but the voice for Al is one of the little kids from Fruits Basket. That kid who did Al's voice actually voiced for the first time on Fruits Basket. This, infact, is a lesson I learned. You shouldn't just stick with the worst series and criticize the dubbers for that. I don't watch dub all the time, but I've seen wose cases. *coughs* GRAVITATION *coughs* |
