Not any that haven't been mentioned. Catch 22/Streetlight Manifesto seem to be the best to me. The old Sublime stuff is really good, but a more layed back style. Reel Big Fish get better at times, one my favorite ska songs is their remake of Take On Me, such a fun trombone line.

I love Reel Big Fish. Went to one of their concerts at the House of Blues for their Coast to Coast Roast tour with RX Bandits and Catch 22, and fell in love with their opening band, Suburban Legends.

Although these bands sound great listening at home or elsewhere, they just make for great live bands. They're must-sees.

Oh yeah, also like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Just had to throw that in.

Yeah, they do sound like great Live bands. With them hopping around on stage blasting there brass section solo all over, lol.

Van you seem to know a lot about Ska, any bands you suggest?

Yes, ska is amazing. It's a very fun style to play on the trombone, though I haven't played much. A while ago before I had braces I could play the solo in The Wrong Way by Sublime. That also brings me to say the ska songs are the absolute best at telling tragic stories without making them depressing, and sometimes just make it dark comedy. There's an upcoming band called Big D and The Kids Table who are ska/punk, and in my opinion are as good as bands like Goldfinger and NOFX.
