you need an upgrade...Are you runnning XP? i seem to recall XP's minimum RAM being 512...I may suggest getting a stick of 512 or another stick of 256...or if your really strapped for cash a 128 stick of RAM.

I tested it on my p4 3.2 EE and i didnt have any slowdowns,Edit Forgot to mention that I have lots of Ram,Two sticks of 512,i had shitty graphics though do to my onboard g Card.

I was really choppy on my computer... Of, course, It's slower than a retarded Carrot Top. As for the Driver, you have a fairly good one, right Sajin? That game almost made me put a nice, big window in the monitor via shotgun at point-blank range. Have you Defragged it lately?

Must be my OS then...too bad I dont have lynux...

Does the game run a bit choppy to you? At the LEAST bit?

It ran fine it I wasnt moving the camera...but if I moved, it lagged to hell and started freezing up on me...But another bad thing was when I loaded a major town, it ran fine untill I moved the mouse...I dont know, maybe I need to upgrade my video Driver...

Were you running junk in the background? You know how hoggy Windows is, and fighting for that ram with EA games is a battle lost on the game and Windows.

It ran fine on the P4m using a software graphics accelerator on the Dell Laptop that WhiteRose owns now.

It runs fine on the computers at work, and those are 2.0 GHz, 128MB AGP, 1 Gig RAM computers.

It even ran fine on my 500 MHz, 64MB AGP, 192MB RAM ToughBook laptop computer.

Of course, each time, I close out all unnecessary programs, unnecessary background processes, and anything that could possibly cause Windows to go "ahh! I'm shutting down now!"

But then, all three of those systems are set up with either different partitions for use as a page file only, or with another hard drive with the explicit intent of using it as a page file drive.

Find the appropriate system settings and environment, and you can make Sim City 4 work for you!
Spoiler:
Apparently, the EA brainwashing has already occured. No bad mouthing of EA. No badmouthing of Disney. No badmouthing of the Government. Soulless being #143 still active...

Sucks -- Period

I installed at and met the maximum requirements...and then some...Diddnt work for shit when I built something big...Even with the graphics settings turned off....

Anyways, this game is ALMOST like the rest of the sim city games out there, except alot more user friendly and an extreme enhancement for graphics...however the only thing wrong with it is it requires way too much for a simple game...

Deeper building system, a user friendly toturorial, and you can import your sims on there to get a feed back on how you can improve your city....but again, it lags like crazy when you build alot...

I wouldent recommend this game to anyone, just stick with 3000...

Ive got a 128 graphics card and 312 MB of Ram...The maximum requirements are 32 MB and 256 MB of RAM...Dont get this game, they dont know what the hel their talking about...
