Right now it's just a money thing, and I found out I might not even NEED them for the job..
I'm going to find out before I waste money I don't have on certifications I don't need.  |

Sounds like something I would want to do, Im all the time fixing IBM computers at my school and im getting paid good doing it...Roughly 10-30 dollars a job, Im getting paid 100 dollars for fixing Mrs.C's computer while doing her college homework on powerpoint...
But your job sounds like 30-Ka-zillion times harder and more fun than my job

Okay, I've been going through some stuff with my old retail job.. namely they reufse to admit I worked a day and won't give me the money from the day I worked. (Not a big deal but my old boss was a jerk and it's the prinicipal of the matter.)
But today my mom called from work (she works at Home Depot's Home Offices) and said she had to get her computer fixed at work for some reason and she was talking to the IT guy who had come to fix her computer and had mentioned me and that I was a Unix nerd and was getting my certifications and what-not. Turns out, he's the head of the IT department.. and is very interested in talking to me and even said, "We could really use someone like here." ... I was just floored with excitement when I heard. I love that company. I love their offices. I love computers, I think the term "best job ever" would apply here. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope something happens from this. |
