| One of the most common issues of Xfinity Modems, Xfinity Modem blinking orange occurs when the device is connecting at 10/100 Mbps. Besides, a lack of communication between the modem and your router can trigger such issues. To resolve this, follow the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps:
Check if the Ethernet cable connecting the modem and your router is in proper condition. If the cable has any physical damages, replace it with a new one. Restart the modem. Disconnect the power adapter of the modem from the electric socket and connect it back after two minutes. If the problem persists, reset the router. Press and hold the router’s reset button for about 10 seconds and release it. The router’s status lights will start flickering and it will restart. Check if the blinking of the orange light stops.
