| Chapter 1: The Fog
An smooth breeze came over the land as darkness began to fall and a fog set in...the last of the sun's rays were steadily falling, leaving a gloomy orange light lingering in the sky. Houses' lamps were lit, and there wasn't a person in sight in the streets. An eerie feeling of a ghost town settled in. It has been like this for years. Only a few feet off, some men were heard whispering to themselves. The whispers making the scenraio even more horrific. The wind breezing by sounding like souls of the late, and sky turning a navy blue now, with clouds forming into demons it seemed. Playing tricks on the mind. "Yes, I've heard of this tale too." Whispered the first. "When darkness falls, is when the souls of our dearly beloved rise to haunt this town. 'Tis why we are cursed. The souls move through means of a fog I've heard." With this, the second man jumped. Angered, the first man sat him down immediately. "Fool, stop jittering, 'tis only fools tale. But the deaths are accumalating." A worried face replaced the angered one now. A third man, beneath a cloak, as everyone else, raised his hand to speak. "Perhaps we sould inquire for a Preist. To bless this town?" 1 Man: "Yes, Maybe, Alright, we will try...I just pray that we will be s..." In the distance a glass crashed that broke the eerie silence surrounding them. The three men jumped with their heart racing. Each grabbed a pitchfork moving closer to the source of the crash. Nothing. The hearts still racing, beating now in their chests as if it were to burst............ MEEEEEEEEEEEOW!!!!!!! The men fell back as a cat appeared and jumped from a small barrel looking at the men in a weird taste, then, it strolled away and disappeared. "This is too dangerous...we must leave at once."
