| Oh God yes......someone else who has good classic PC taste.....
I used to own this game along with the expansion, but when I went to the military academy, he pawned my old compy as well as this game....oh well... I used to play this game on hosted LAN party's....very interesting game. However due to the fact that I never played single player mode on there, I never beat it, I just chose a random race and battled... Nice one Nuclear.... |

| i never got the expansion but i did play a demo for it. it looked pretty cool. what i love is that you can download tons of maps and even new units and buildings for the game. there are a few official ones released by cavedog but others are just ones that people made. also you can download a file so you dont need the disc to play the game. but you can only play maps you downloaded since the maps never get transfered to your comp. | |||

| I own the original game, and it is sweet. It use to bog my comp down becuase it was so demanding on my old old comp. This game actually intrdouced the fact that you need to build a more advanced factory to build better units, and also the first game to introduce a main unit commander that was your strongest unit to start. This game also introduced hard core unit speed. Just cause your a walking mech doesnt mean that you can run full tilt. This game was teh woots back in the day, and still is in my book. | |||

| i agree with jedi master desroth. this game is still a really good game and i think always well be. sometimes i just feel the urge to play it and i can play it for hours on end. i found a map called real earth which is supposed to be like the biggest map ever. but i downloaded it and i wouldent work. =[ missing something. but its supposed to be just like the globe. pretty awsome sounding to me. | |||

Yeah, TA in my opinion was even better than Starcraft in some ways. Once you had an army built, it really felt satisfying because you could build so many different kinds of units. The whole user made units thing was also awesome, and patches that allowed you to have 5,000 units for the max and so forth. This game just had enormous diversity, so at times I just loved playing it more than most RTS games. On top of all this, the soundtrack for the game is really incredible. Very good, and underated game. |

| too true gamma xeo i used to love the soundtrack when i was like 8 and i still to and im 16. even my dad used to like it! even though watching me play the game made him dizzy. when i downloaded the 5000 unit patch the enemy AI just wadded up a bunch of units on the 7 islands level and tryed to send them into my base but they couldent get there. lol so they just huddled up in a corner of his island. |
