Unless the tape they used to film it at the time is destroyed, it'll be on YouTube soon. v.v

Still, I remember watching that show. It was probably one of the select few documentaries I watched. Mainly because it was funny watching him wrestle things that most would keep around 50 metres away from, such as crocodiles and rattle snakes. He was an awsome dude.

I remember the first thing I said when I heard this was:

"A FUCKING STING RAY? Get serious! Who dies by sting ray? Especially Steve Irwin. Was it hired by Castro?"

Yeah, when I first heard about this yesterday I wasn't surprised and yet I was at how he died. With all of his man-handling of poisonous snakes and other dangerous reptiles and such, you'd think he wouldn't have gone down like some tourist.

No, I share his opinion. But, I just don't actually post about it. But, given that:

It's a good thing a horribly inept man is off the air and off the planet. My condolences to his family, but good riddence. Bad name to Discovery Channel crowd. He died a stupid way, though. At least for him.

Yeah, Avatar, I wasn't making a joke. I am glad that this man is gone forever, although I would have been satisfied with him just retiring. I'm also glad that he never procreated, I'd hate to see his children.

Time to take care of some business.

But seriously, I hope his kid will take his father's death as a sign, and pursue a safer career. Like disarming bombs.

yeah, i agree zabuza, i mean, who needs education? what a horrible man for dedicating his entire life to trying to save endangered animals from extinction while educating others that there's a beauty in everything. i mean, what was he thinking when he donated all his gross profits from his movie, and not taking one single penny; what an ass for giving it to charity!

i mean, who cares that he died trying to get a rare clip for others to enjoy without having to go thru what he does...

1) Don't be a hypocrite (Your title of "Peace.") does not match your jackass attitude. You know what peace is? Peace is frienship and love with all of your surroundings. If you are going to wear the symbol of peace then you are a disgrace to the radical times of the 60's which worked for peace.

2) Apparently people who work to preserve our planet for the good of humanity and not the greed of money are worthy of dieing an early life? Way to be inconsiderate.

3) You do not insult a human being when they are down on the ground and injured, or even worse dead. Steve Irwin is more humane than most people on the planet and yet all you can say is good riddance?

3.5) I can see insulting Hitler and Stalin since they did not perserve any wholesome attitude towards nature and life but insulting a human being who would give their life to save another person in the blink of an eye? Let me be honest, I do not like you, I have never liked you, you need to think before you post something, and you should perferably shoot yourself with the shotgun you have taken down from the wall. Don't you think that would be more of a humane thing to do? You are afterall a waste of food, time, and energy. I'm sure your parents would be happy without you and your siblings.

All in all you are a selfish pissant who takes life for granted. Steve did his dream job and just because his occupation is dangerous does not give you the right to bad mouth him in a manner of he was killed while discovering you hear that Zabuza? He was fucking discovering information about creatures of the deep and he was killed. Do you have the balls to go into the ocean and do what he did? NO you don't because all you can do is gloat from your computer at how "great" you are and demean others for no reason. If you cannot appreciate the hard work someone has done for the planet then maybe you should move to a third world country and be depraved of clean food and water. Maybe you'll feel what its like to live in a world where you are a nameless piece of shit. Then when you come back to a first word country you'll be greatful of all the oppurtunities and frills you have. You do not have to do a damn thing in your life except work from 7-5 and work like a normal business person. You have not earned the right to critisize another human being's contributions to our world.

*holds arguement in because Hobo slammed it on the desk already*

Quite simply put if you don't value life, I don't like you.

Anyways, for those wondering "Wow just a Stingray?" here's what hit him:

Just imagine that diving into your body, and I've heard people say it apparently peirced his heart.

My thoughts? Damn.

Edit: Oh, found another good picture.

Whimpy? ...

Honestly, everyone here that said "Good riddance" have pissed me off beyond compare. How can you honestly say that about any human, let alone a man who's done an amazing amount for this planet?

That's disgusting. And by the way, Hobo nailed everything I was going to say.

And yes, he died instantly, pierced his heart.

Rest in peace, Steve Irwin.

Well, I apologize for my ignorance. The only thing I knew Steve Irwin for was basically being Jackass, but with animals. I had no idea of the charity and stuff that he had done. I beg for your forgivness.

But I must say that I am glad that his show will no longer be on television.

Trying to educate by taunting them so that he could profit from them? Please. I've seen better philanthopists at a Comic Book convention.

The man, while beloved in Australia, was a joke. I'm not saying that I'm happy that he's dead. I'm more happy that he's off the air. Stingray death aside, I'm glad to see him gone and off the air.

And, as an American (and an inherent bitter, heartless asshole) I'm entitled to both share my opinion about his leaving this planet, and about my utter dislike for him. There are other approaches towards education than being known as a person that taunted and wrestled with animals.

I admire his intelligence, and (former) pursuit to protect the endangered. I just didn't appreciate the matter in which he was conducting it.

you actually make sense. i mean, what a dumb way to transfer a croc. i mean, everyone knows that all you gotta do is put a leash around it, pet it a couple times, and walk it around the park, it'll follow your commands. and god damn him and his profits! i mean, god, just because he owns a zoo doesnt give him the right to pay and run it. what an ass he must've been!
