| Playstation One to me is still pretty iffy for classic gaming (same with Saturn), a few more years under it's belt, it will be , same with the Dreamcast, PS 2, and X-Box, though that's still long enough down the road not to be classic yet. (Last edited by Bloodreign on 10-16-06 06:24 AM) |

PS1...classic? Xbox even?! O_o Might be just me, but when I hear the word "classic" when talking about gaming...I automatically think of NES, SNES, them sega systems...hell, freaking Atari! N64...PS1...maybe even Dreamcast, as much as it supposedly "sucks" (I've only played two games for it though and I happened to like those games, so my opinion of the Dreamcast doesn't really count anyway), couldn't be considered classic...I remember when they all came out brand new and were like the "thing" to own...I'd rather not feel that old yet. :p (Last edited by Katana on 01-15-07 08:47 PM) |

I know they don't make games for the PS1 anymore...but what pisses me off is that they're so difficult to find now! **cries** On both Final Fantasy VII AND Final Fantasy VIII, my disk 3 is broken. |

| Most PSX games I'll see range from $10-$20 (that's stretching it) for quality titles and stuff.
Though the rare stuff (like RPG's), seem to start out at $30, cheapest. Sometimes. It just depends on how easy the games are to find I guess. |

It depends on stores. There's quite a few local-only game stores around here, then collectibles stores, and then the usual Gamestop / EB Games and stuff. But no matter what, there always seems to be a price difference on some games here and there. And sometimes its drastic. Honestly though, I wouldn't think FF games would be that much. Since most of them became a Greatest Hits, and there's been so many of them produced. You could even check SquareEnix's online store and see if they sell them online? I know they still sell Xenogears for only $20, brand new. And sometimes, amazon.com actually has good prices on hard to find games. I'd say if you pay more than $30 for FFVII, VIII, or IX, it'd be a little crazy. |
