Reach deep within that decaying skull of yours and think about what was the first game you ever played or get hooked on.

I have an old casette of when my mom was videotaping me beathing the hell out of Mario on the nintendo...but I wasnt hooked on that game.

I used to have this OLD PC that could only run on DOS. But I was hooked on some D&D game I think was called "Gate to aserton" or something like that. It was First person and glitched up alot, but I had fun just going into dungeons as a kid and trying to learn RPG elements. Bout that time my dad got me Final Fantasy for the Gamy Boy.

Vaguely I remember playing COmmand and Conquer for DOS. Heh, I still have that scratched up Disc.

I played Super Mario Bros quite a bit, but ...

Then I rented this game called Megaman 2. From then on, I was renting various Megaman games nearly every week (thanks to my grandparents). I played the heck out of those games, and to this day they're still so freaking fun.

Also, I would wake up and run straight to the TV to play Blaster Master almost every morning for probably a year or so. I never went to pre-school, I stayed home and got my game on.

Star Fox 64. That was before I had any video games (except maybe a GameBoy Pocket), and my neighbor had it. I loved that game so much. I'm getting it the second it's on Virtual Console for the Wii.

Dark Forces, Prince of Persia, Mechwarrior 2, Warcraft 2, and Starcraft.

I remember playing Prince of Persia with my dad on our really old computer, when I was really young. The part with the jugs of stuff you had to drink from always confused me.

Is it the Prince of Persia where like...you don't even attack? You have a sword that does pretty much nothing?

I think I remember a PoP game like that.

Anyway, my first game was SMB for NES. Typical?

The NES broke 10 minutes after and I got a SNES. With Donkey Kong Country. So DKC is my second game ever played, but first game I was ever really hooked on. I played a decent bit of it. Eventually, I beat it, hurray!

Well I was going to say kickball, but...

Back when I was in first grade, we had Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego days in the computer lab. We had these computers that didn't even have mouses (mice?), and the monitors had only a few colors.

I LOVED playing Carmen Sandiego, but then I was also addicted to the game show and so that just added to love I already had for the fandom.

Word muncher, some weird game that ran off one of those old floppy-disk like things, and of course, gizmos and gadgets.

SMB3. I'd played SMB and Zelda before it, but SMB3 was the only one I played for any great length of time (got to world 5 eventually...)

Duck Hunt is always the game I want to play. I use to have it then my parents gave it to my grand parents, who sold it. I still want to go back and play that game. it was so fun and now I wonder if it would glitch up like the old pacman arcade game.

Video Pinball and Atari Bowling on the old dino Atari 2600, fond memories of flipping the score in Video Pinball 12 times in a row, boredom from flipping the score eventually got me to stop playing it. Tried playing it through emulation recently, but a lot of rust had built upon my skills for that game.

Haha I hate those typing games that they make you play. I never found them to be any fun. However I can now type pretty well. At least I don't have to look at the keyboard.

I think it was that snake game on the computer.

Nah... had to be Mario of some form when I was super little. Honestly can't remember that far back... but I do remember MY FATHER beating Donkey Kong 2. Hahaha

Played Mario, but I would have to say the first game to get me hooked was Oregon Trail at school, because it was the best game ever! I miss it so much.

Other than that, Raiden at the arcade was the other big hook when I was little.
