Probably, again, because they think that Wicca is Satanism, which it's not. There is nothing wrong with true Satanism either if you look at it... it's the wannabe fuckers that reinforce stereotypes that cause all this trouble! Just remember, if people start to really get on your case, point out that Wicca is a legally recognized religion in the eyes of the Federal Governement (no matter how much Bush hates it), and thusly is protected under the First Amendment right to freedom of religion... and that if they persist in harassing you, you will report it to the authorities. I did that in my 9th grade year and it helped... of course it can be as simple as telling the pricipal or VP that the reason you are in their office for a dispute is because the other person is harrassing you because of your religion. Half the time schools are so terrified of the thought of angry parents suing the school because their kid's rights were violated that they don't bother to ask what your religion is. If they do ask, you point out the recognization thing. Which brings up another point, do you're parents know yet? |

| Yeah, mothers never understand. As far as I know, my mother still hasn't figured it out and I am not telling her until I move out. Otherwise, I will be thrown out of the house, because no matter how many times I explain different religions to her, she always reverts to the "If you're not Christian you are going to Hell. Wicca is Satanic, Muslims are terrorists, etc" view... and she claims to be a liberal.
People like that will tend to make you hate Christians, but you will also meet people that will redeem the faith itself because they are not like that. Hell, I've even known some Jehovah's Witnesses that managed to redeem the religion in my eyes... and considering my ex-fiancee's Witness mother from hell, that was not an easy thing to do. |

*Jade's shield flared out as the shards hit, causing them to smash to pieces. She couldn't get out of the wind though, and was sucked into the vortex. Spinning round and round, her temper again flared... but this time to dangerous levels. Above even the roar of the wind a cry of pure rage spilt the air as the lights in the arena flicker and dim for a minute, followed by a dark purple globe of energy being expelled from the tornado. A rut ground into the floor as it traveled, lightening as it went until a figure could be seen inside of it. She was on her feet, crouched and clutching a flaming greatsword in her right hand*

"Nice try, but not a bright idea." *Jade straightened up, but she seemed markedly different. The crackling energy shield around her was gone, replaced by a pulsating dark purple aura that partially obscured her form from view. The aura lightened to allow her to be seen, and she looked markedly different. She now towered at 7 feet tall and her twisted grin now revealed pointed incisors. Her eyes locked onto Shuyin's, but they were no longer a glowing purple. The eyes that gazed at him were swirling prismatic orbs. She did not make any moves though, choosing to gauge his reaction first* Dark Goddess Transformation - Jade has the power to become the Dark Goddess of Chaos at random, typically uncontrolled times... usually while in a rage. She grows to 7 feet tall, her nails and claws becoming sharp as razors and fangs appear in her mouth. Her eyes begin to swirl different colors, and she becomes enshrouded in a dark purple aura known as the Chaos Aura. All spell range and damage is times five in this form, so the Black Lighting explosion radius is 150ft instead of 30ft. She also, naturally, becomes both stronger and faster. Chaos Aura- This dark purple aura surrounds Jade like a force field and negates almost all magickal attacks, and reflects some physical attacks. It can get dark enough if she chooses to obscure her, making her harder to hit because the only thing clearly visible are her glowing eyes. It is the physical manifestation of her Chaotic energy.

Anywho, congrats on getting a job Kaijin, I am really happy for you! Bleed them for all it's worth and I hope you do a great job! Just remember, don't let their sandwich sit there for 5 minutes and then go back to help them... the new chick at the Subway I was at on Sunday did that to me and I wanted to backhand her. Toasted sub was nearly ice cold before she even asked if I wanted lettuce on the damn thing.

I'm thinking a remake of the live action Fist of the North Star movie (done better)... course I'd have to see how bad the original is first.
