| To be honest, he's not the worst governor we've ever had, but he's certainly not the best. The education thing alone put a bad taste in my mouth regarding his administration. Muira turns, wided eyed to look at the man in the bed (seen from his perspective). She is silent for a moment, her mouth slightly open. "Charles?" Screen goes black. But yeah, I went to the midnight showing as well. The audiance was so annoying! Group of teenagers or something kept making loud stupid comments throughout most of the movie, though vengence was had. After the iceskating scene they were shouting out "oh, Jerry Springer!" to which someone else yelled out "Shut the fuck up!" The entire theater errupted in applause and cheers. The rest of the movie was watched in silence, glorious silence! But yeah, my take on the movie: I had a feeling that I would be dissapointed, so I went in with low expectations. As a movie, it was okay... action scenes were awesome and I liked the scene with the Sentinel though I wish they had shown it better. As for my perspective as a fan of the comics (though nowhere near the level of Rogue and Shuyin since my brother doesn't share comics well) I was very angry over the changes they made, and in fact agree with Rogue on almost every point... okay, every point. Scott's death pissed me off, I mean he was a dick and all but he deserved better than that. Between his and Jean Grey's death they altered the storyline SO much... I heard so many fans of Cable bitching walking out of the theater that it wasn't even funny! Also, why does Arclight look so much like a guy? The breasts and Pyro calling her a lady are the only things that confirmed it for me. Also, Callisto... I wasn't even sure who she was until the credits and my friend confirmed it. The porcupine guy? I learned his name from reading the review in the paper and can't even remember it. WHAT HAPPENED TO NIGHTCRAWLER?! WHY NO GAMBIT OR JUBILEE?! I hear that they are making a Wolverine spinoff movie, I look at it with mixed feelings. I mean, I like the character and Hugh Jackman does a decent job of acting the part... but I fear the writers and what they will do. (Last edited by Elara on 05-27-06 04:29 AM) |

| Not hot, Zabuza wear have you been?
... Oh, wait... in an air conditioned office building. Nevermind. But yeah, it's hit the low 80s or so, but the sun is so intense that if feels so much hotter! My car's AC doesn't work so driving anywhere is hell. My solution, I stay inside for most of the day, usually at my boyfriend's house since they aren't afraid to turn on the AC when it gets hot like my parents are. If I am stuck at my house, I have my ceiling fan running and I wear loose, cool clothing (like my "Holy/Wholely Manson Shirt" that is pretty much open shouldered now). Also, I take off my socks indoors because for some reason your feet control the temperature in the rest of your body. If you keep them warm you get warmer, if you cool them off you feel cooler. |

| Heh heh, well the Dreamstar character never gets used, and I hardly ever play on Proudmoore anymore because I just didn't like it. My two characters that I still play are the following:
On Dunemaul: Hathran Night Elf Druid lvl 24 (currently) Spec - Balance Prof - Skinning & Leatherworking Member of Eve of Serenity II Most recent and current main, on Emerald Dream: Malmuira (only name I could get) Human Priest lvl 16 (currently) Spec - Holy Prof - Herbalism & Alchemy Officer in Dragonflight of Stars I like Emerald Dream better than Dunemaul or Proudmoore. It's an RPPVP server so it is more fun for me, though I get so sick of General chant in Goldshire because you have so many idiots saying shit like "why do u rp? that is gay." or making references to Chuck Norris (why?!). I just wish that I had more money so I could get a decent mace. And WHY can't Priests learn two-handed maces? Have the makers of WoW never seen White Mage? Oh well, at least some 1h maces are called hammers. *sigh* |

| Yes, because they suck. I loved Nightcrawler and how they showed his badass powers in X2, and to just have him gone without a mention made me sad. I mean, it was nice to Kitty more, though she seemed uber emo to me at times.
I actually did like the fight between Iceman and Pyro though, it made me smile at the end of it. But yeah... Storm's hair made me cringe. As for her accent, it's never been there in the movies that I have noticed... perhaps I am not observant (missed Stan's scene every time until pointed out later that "hey that was Stan"), but I'm pretty sure that Halle Berry has never even tried to do the accent. I do like the one line she says though, "since when did we become a disease?" Between that and Beast's conversation with the President about cure weapons I thought they did really well showing that side of the issue. Rogue... well... I guess they needed someone for the other side of the fence, but seriously what the fuck? |

I've seen a car hit a deer before, just clipped it's hoof as it was jumping over the railing into the woods... it did a complete flip and went out of sight head first (it was a good incline down so I am sure it died). It made me cry to watch it.

*A powerful blast struck the center of the tanks and Sentinals, blowing ten of them to pieces. Morrighan turned to the source of the blast to see Dalit in the window of the headquarters. He had a determined look on his face as he met his mother's gaze and smiled sadly.* "... That's my baby," she said with a smile as tears blurred her vision for a second. *Morrighan rushed the Sentinals, leaping on their backs and ripping off their heads or breaking their central command units. Dalit blasted the tanks with powerful blasts of elemental energy. His power was terrifying and Morrighan could not have been more proud of him at that moment, though she was sad that he had to be forced into combat at such a young age. In a mere five minutes half of the tanks and Sentinals had been destroyed. The 369 armies fired on the government troops, used rocket launchers to blow up more of the tanks. What seemed hopeless a few moments before now shown hope thanks to the powers of a small boy*

My ex-boyfriend whose friendship I retained got me a brand new XBOX 360. He was going to get me a copy of Oblivion as well, but the store didn't have it. Oh, and my parents got me a copier/printer/scanner unit. My brother got me $100, my other brother got me flowers, and my boyfriend got me a rose and went to dinner with my family (which he hates).
