If you'll allow me to stray from the topic for a moment, I said something very similar in a previous topic about supporting our troops; that little yellow ribbon so many people rely on to show their support comes disturbingly close to offending me. Not because I don't support the troops (which I do) or the war (which I don't), but because my family actually did something to support them when we could afford to. When my stepfather was in Afghanistan, we sent things to him and the other soldiers on the base. That is supporting the troops. Displaying an utterly useless ribbon or ribbon bumper sticker is not support, what it is can be best described as a throwaway gesture that in the grand scheme of things means absolutely nothing. In fact, I strongly suspect that many of the people displaying those ribbons are doing so for selfish reasons - to ease their own conscience without having to make any personal sacrifices.

Supposedly then he's found things out about some of his opposition, and then made it public, pretty much ruining their lives. I'm not sure about the details, but I'm not sure I'd like an inexperienced person rumored to have trained under our enemies in war, and who plays dirty politics as my president.

Actually Elara, if you do a bit of research into schools, you'd realize that budget is hardly the problem. I did a bit of research on a huge amount of funding taht was supposed to go to my state schools recently, and you know what I discovered?

More money went towards the principles than the teachers or the supplies. The fact is, management is taking all the money, leaving teachers and supplies to fend for themselves. An EXTREMELY small amount of money in schools are actually sent towards letting the schools function, and way more is sent towards management.

Actually, I didn't. I mentioned that he called it fear mongering, and that it didn't explain why he still tried to hide it. If he published it, like anyone else visiting another country does, I wouldn't care, it wouldn't matter to me!

They come from books, magazines, radio shows, TV(not Fox), or anything else. I'm glad to say that I have more than just the internet as my source. However, with a little bit of time, I can probably find it on the internet as well.

I say this not as a problem with the muslim religon, I say this because it's true with all religions. If I heard that all the mormons in Utah were having the same things done to them that are being done to some islamic countries, I'd probably be slightly biased as well. It woudl take a ton of work for me to approve sending our army to invade a place made up of almost only Mormons.
