It's fine, I'm not blaming you for posting the story. I blame the people who set this up.

Not only that, the guy went to the lengths of making SSH accounts for EVERYONE participating to use. Once you're on the machine, the game is over. Heh. Obviously..

This has gotten such a backlash that the university of wisconcin has set up a +real+ challenge.. and the mac has been standing strong for about 13 hours so far.

30 minutes? Yeah right.. in hell!

Erm, XHTML is more than just important. It's the new absolute standard.

If you're to learn HTML right now, You're wasting your time unless you're learning XHTML and CSS..

I'm so much of an XHTML/CSS freak I refuse .. I REFUSE to ever touch tables again..

I wish I had more time to dedicate to my web design and web development work..

Dual powersupplies is very possible but not needed. Just get a high-end one.

I suggest a kickin' modular based one so you only have cables you NEED hanging around the case. Much simpler and cleaner.

I figured I'd start a new one.. here's a neat little tip for all you kiddos who can't live without table attributes and properties.

Divs have a built in table emulation property, where you make ask? In display!

So let's say you have some things you want to scale at the same time and divs just won't do it..

all you have to do is created a parent div to control box in some divs.. I suggest calling the id "container" and add "display: table" to it's css property.

Then in each div you want inside it. You can put "display: table-cell"

So if you have three divs they'll appear as such..

And when one grows, they will all grow. Just like with the tables of old.

I use this little trick with blog layouts where I need two sidebars

The < div > (division) tag can be used to create a block with elements like table, text, image or whatever you want. Everything enclosed in the block will be part of that division. You can include as many div tags into a page as you like.
