I don't think that they will ever have sensitivity classes for it, mainly since it is against the law and shall never EVER be legalized. However, I don't think that a registered sex offender should be harrassed and forced to move out a new home by a bunch of people unless it is obvious that they are not recovered from their problem (i.e. warning signs of them about to do it again)... I've seen people go apeshit about a sex offender moving in without knowing what they did. It could have been a poor guy caught pissing in public and they decend upon him like he raped a baby. |

Have you taken your SAT yet? Did you get a decent score? What was your score?

I got only an 1190 and I could have got into UCLA if I had wanted to. They do look into more than just GPA and SAT, though those are important. If you excell in something (sports for example), there are full ride scholarships... same goes for wanting to get into certain fields (teaching for example). Also, going back to the Community College part, they ask what your GPA and SAT scores were, but that is just for your records, they accept you no matter what. Generally, intelligence and creativity come into play getting scholarships to pay for college rather than admissions. Hence why nearly all of them want essays, stories, etc.

I drink, that's it. I don't smoke or do any drugs (tried noz, but that is it). Why? Don't want to. People have offered it to me before, but typically they understand and respect my refusal. Is it that they do it around you that bothers you or that they do it at all? If it is the former, then talk to them and explain that it makes you very uncomfortable when they do that and to please stop. If it is just that they do it in general, then there is not much that you can do other than hope they realize their foolishness.
