| The fire and ash roared around Kevin as the SUV sparked up like a match. The metal screamed and warped as the heat filled the car. Kevin desperately thought of something to do. He leaned back and slammed his feet through the windshield the air in would cause the flames to grow so he had to act fast. Reaching down he wretched the door open and burst outside. He was choking on the ash but knew that he would handle that later, there was something that needed his attention now. Moving quickly Kevin pulled the hood of the car open and ripped out the battery. 'Why isn't he attacking?' Kevin thought as he scanned the sky. The visor on Kevin's helmet was cracked and now useless he tossed it aside and took a deep breath in. "This is going to be fun," he said. Then he began to formulate his next attack. | |||

| The ash surrounded Kevin as he moved. The thick ash burned his lungs as he went on. Kevin moved to the front of the car and ripped open the hood. There it was, the battery. He reached deep into the engine block and pulled it free. But as he lifted it from the burning vehicle, the SUV burst again. Kevin lay on the hard concrete his face and hands badly burnt and the ash still surrounding him. He focused on what could be his final move in this battle. He seperated his gun into various parts and tried to construct something from the battery. Leaving various parts littering the ground. "Let's end this Phoenix." Blood ran down Kevin's lips as he reached into his jacket and pulled another small container out. | |||

| Kevin watched as the flames approached and began surrounding himself with freezing air. The pillar hit him and the border around him was heating up very fast. But the power of the spiraling flames lifted Kevin's body into the air. Kevin pushed himself towards Phoenix as the firey tornado destroyed the vechicles lineing the ground. Kevin forced the air beneath him downward and propelled himself at Phoenix. He showed what was in his hand, Kevin was holding a large electro-magnet made from the car battery. He hurled his second grenade behind Phoenix and activated the magnet. The blast from the grenade could do amazing amounts of damage and there was still sharpnel in Phoenix's legs from the first bomb. Kevin pressed the plunger down on the detonation device.
"Goodbye," He said with a smile. |

| Kevin\'s mind scrambled for a plan. The shrapnel was inching closer and closer but the real danger was Phoenix and his sparkly stick. \'Damn it.\" Kevin shouted as he summoned up the occult fire from his hands and shot the fire directly upward forcing him down into the shrapnel but away from the sword. | "Time to die Phoenix!" Kevin screamed as he lunged forward grasping onto phoenix's body. Kevin opened his hand a small container, smaller than the others. He swallowed it and looked intothe sky. The magnet was falling fast and Kevin could feel the shrapnel in his back being pulled to the surface. "Checkmate." Kevin pressed another plunger and felt his insides get warm. The metal was forcing itself out of his body and into the magnet. But there was something in between him and the magnet. Something with wings. | |||

| "It was a worthwhile duel my friend," with that kevin's body went limp all of his muscles relaxed as his body recieved the rest it needed. Kevin dropped the plunger in his hand and allowed Phoenix to carry him to safety. Kevin extended his hand to Phoenix. As he grasped the hand he moved close to Phoenix's ear. "it's called a deadman switch and a delay timer." the bomb inside kevin's body exploded the shrapnel tore out of Kevin and hurled towards Phoenix's body. Setting: A large metropolitan city placed on an island. The city is filled with skyscrapers and citizens. They carry on with their day until the fight begins. The city is several miles across and surrounded by an endless expanse of water. BIC: Frankie walked around the city, just another face in an endless sea of ordinary. He walked from place to place begging for a challenge. The sun was high in the sky and the city was beginning to heat up. There was something different in the air. Frankie was getting excited. |
