As the title says. 
And bad move... should've checked my character thread, and you'd see why I used a Light attack. The bolts that did hit Milton simply bounced off his fur. "Don't you know that shiny things reflect light?" he asked, charging up an energy ball. "It is unfortunate that you appear to be immune to my other attacks. I had hoped to avoid this one, kupo." Hoping to distract Jaques while the attack is prepared, Milton threw a few Crystalblades at him. Crystalblades: A crystalline throwing blade, that looks like a cross between a dart and a throwing knife. Enchanted to not be redirectable, but this enchantment slows them a bit as they fly through the air. |

| Eh, now that I've put THOUGHT into what you're saying (sorry 'bout that), I'll explain why I use "Light" instead of "Holy"...
Partially due to religious reasons - Holy is generally associated with, you know, religious figures, and I'm an atheist, so... yeah - and partially because "Dark" or "Shadow" aren't really considered opposites of Holy, yet the magic elementals are typically opposites. Light generally is considered the opposite of Dark or Shadow, so... ... of course, about 80% of my characters' healing spells are not Light-elemental anyway, and almost all protective spells of mine are not. Most of the healing is Water or Shadow, and the protective spells are mostly Earth, Ice, and Wind. =/ |

| The 'energy' part. 'Energy' in this case is simply referring to a ball of magical energy - the attack in question, however, is non-elemental. He just hasn't finished casting it yet because he's a thief, and thieves aren't mages. |

Fire: Opposes Water, Ice and nature-based Earth; supported by Wind In addition to calling on the most obvious source - fire - my fire spells also sometimes are just heat-based. Water: Opposes Fire, dirt/rock-based Earth; supports Ice, supported by/supports Nature-based Earth Water. That simple. Healing water, shields of water, and drowning people in - you guessed it - water. Ice: Opposes nature-based Earth, Fire; supported by Water, supported by Shadow Similarly to Fire, Ice calls on solid Ice and just plain cold. Electric: Opposed by ground-based Earth; supported by/supports Wind It's electric! It should be obvious. Wind: Opposed by dirt/rock-based Earth, supports Fire, supported by/supports Electric Windy. Many storm-based spells are part-wind. Earth: Nature-based: Opposed by Fire, Ice, supported by/supports Water, supported by Light Ground-based: Opposed by Wind, Water Can be nature-based or dirt/rock-based. Each has its own strengths. Light: Supports nature-based Earth, opposed by Dark Alright, it's holy. With a different name. Shadow: Supports Ice, opposed by Light It's the opposite of Holy. Poison is often Shadow. Many weaknesses/resistances can go either way. They don't always manifest in the expected forms, though it's difficult to make a spell go directly against its typical form. Non-elemental Power Sources: Edit: Clarification Note: Spells can come from these sources and still be elemental. But the source is not associated with any elements. Novabolt, a Star spell, is lightning-elemental. Star: Commonly used by Mystic Swordsmen (Kali Moguri, Jake the Starblessed, Larraine Legaun, Calvin Sorlyn). Taps into the pwoers of the cosmos, summoning miniature stars or comets. Almost always damaging, often with side-effects - Firenova will often set the target on fire, for example. Difficult to use. Damage is sometimes magical (stars), sometimes physical (meteors, comets) Moon: The primary source of the power of the Lunar Knights of Estorian (Cassandra Estoriana, Lysander Ceril). Taps into the powers of the moon. Most often are support spells or status spells. Raw Energy: It's raw energy, and the most common non-elemental spell type. | Kaijin: I believe that you're referring to a glitch to capture Mew in Red and Blue. I don't know if it works in Yellow, and I know it doesn't in the others. Since the GBA games can't trade with teh GB/GBC games, that'd only help in R/B/Y/G/S/C...
Of course, those are pretty much the best ones anyway... Deoxys, if memory serves, requires an item that can't be obtained in the game. Same with Mew in FR/LG. And, uh... I was never big on Ghosts, so I wouldn't know; how the hell is Haunter better than Gengar?  |

Why I stopped playing online. Cheaters. I usually used a Bow/Zeal Paladin hybrid build I made. Worked VERY well, except against Frost Immunes. I might play again, but I'll have to buy a new copy of D2 since I lost the serial numbers. |

I'd recomment having an Alakazam, Jolteon, and Lapras available to replace Mewtwo, Zapdos, and Articuno... you know, in case people get tired of losing to excessively powerful pokemon.
