| 1. If you are rich, you should help others who need money.
Generally, yes. If you have so much money at least donate to a charity that could really use the money or something. Give back to the community, that sort of thing. 2. You can never be too generous. Generally this is true; but if it gets to the point that you are so generous to others that you start hurting for things you need then it is too much. For example, I lent money to someone that really needed it, now I don't have enough money for school unless I can get finacial aid. 3. Friendship is more important than love. I see them as equal personally. Generally this means that you should not neglect your friends for your significant other (or at least that is the meaning I see most often to this statement). Neither should be above the other. My boyfriend is one of my best friends, but I do my best to spend time with my other friends as well, we both do. I've seen people that just seem to forget their friends exist when they get into a relationship and it pisses me off to no end. 4. You should forgive others when they don't keep their word. Ideally, yes. It isn't easy, but everyone breaks their word sometimes in some degree. It just takes a bit of time to get over the hurt feelings, sometimes a lot longer than others. 5. Love is more important than money. I agree. For example, the reason that many marriages fail nowadays is because one or both members of the couple are so obsessed with earning more money that they neglect the person that they supposedly love. Yes money is nice, but what good is it if you lose that special person in the process of getting it? 6. If you are rich, it means that you are a good person. *snorts while laughing* WHAT? Money does not equal virtue, end of story. 7. It is okay to make a person give up his/her beliefs if you have a good reason. Generally I disagree with this, because what might be a good reason to you may not be a good reason for someone else. However if it is something like Rogue mentioned where it puts someone in danger then I am not as opposed to it. 8. If you have money, you are happy. Generally yes, if you have enough money that you can live comfortably (not worrying about bills and with a little spending cash left over) you are happier than if you are hurting for money. However, like Rogue said, that goes down the drain when all you think about is "if only I had more money". |

It is D20, that just means it's the system of rolling used. 3.5 is the edition that they are on in the actual books (which determines rules, class abilities, ect).

But yes, it is D20. There is actually very little tie in to the original game, except for mention of the Wailing Death and the city of Neverwinter itself. The Moonstone Mask is now a high class establishment... but still a whorehouse. And it does use a party system like in the Baulder's Gate games (though a smaller party). So far the NPCs are really interesting, though the Druid kinda sucks in combat since she does bugger all... the Bard however kicks major ass!

El Nino? What El Nino? Southern California got no El Nino! I was upset by that. And of course the weather is making good on that early spring thing, it hit 90 degrees in some places on Sunday.

Of course what I find hilarious is that to Pagans Feburary 2nd is Imbolc (or Candlemas), a major holiday and fire festival where rituals are performed to bring back the sun (or spring).
