| Hmn, the idea of a mandatory two years is different; though at the same time it would only be a good solution if after those two years are up you are totally free to go. As it stands right now, if you have served at all they can recall you to active duty at any time. | Heh, I watched Silence of the Lambs when I was 13 while eating ribs the whole way through. Yet it gave my cousins nightmares when they originally saw it a few years before that. Meh.
Since there was such a large time gap between Silence and Hannibal I had no problem with a different actress as Clarice, as long as Anthony Hopkins played Hannibal. As for this new movie, I may or may not see it. A few sceens look cool; but at the same time it feels like they are just trying to squeeze more money out of the francise. |

| Actually it is after the Winter Solstice (approximately December 21st, give or take a day depending on the year) that the days get longer. Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, and the beginning of winter. However the longer days are not really noticeable until after the beginning of Feburary (hence the holiday on the 2nd). | An interesting poem, however I think that it would flow and look a lot better if you reorganized it. The last two lines are really long and generally it is good to end a line at a pause. I don't know if they still use it, but I know that the mandatory two years of service was used in Italy and probably other European countries as well; but only for men. I think that the only way to get out of it was to go into the priesthood or something. |

That is good, Katana. I like the descriptions you use of the emotions, it makes it very visual and that is always good in poetry. I really like the cold fingers of anxiety line, that is really good!

My one question though is "when you say hazel, do you mean hazel brown, blue, or green?" I assume that you are talking about eye color... but at the same time I literally pictured a hazel brown pool of water and it looked really odd to me. Heh heh. (Last edited by Elara on 02-07-07 07:02 AM)

Yeah, the Wailing Death is the first major event in the original game... those weapons that you could have forged reappear in this game and in their description it mentions that whats-his-name (the guy that forged the weapons in NWN) forged this weapon to help the quest to end the Wailing Death.

The Druid as a class is awesome, but the NPC Druid sucks, I think it's in her behavior scripting or something. The NPC Bard is badass though, he casts Stoneskin on the entire party at the start of each fight, boosting your AC like crazy. All the classes run as close to the way they are written in the books as possible, and you can choose your deity based on almost the entire Forgotten Realms pantheon (which is a LOT of choices). Of course it only really matters if you are a divine caster, but it is fun regardless.

((My question was, since I did not live in the city; but was merely visiting it, would a wild barbarian like my character even have a card? I can only assume that since you say everyone has to have one that they are issued at the city gate or something. The reason I asked is because my having one seemed to contradict the image of the Animus that you described. Thusly I will go with the issued at the gate idea since it is the only way that makes sense to me))
