| All right, so my guesses were just a little off.
Rumor has it they may just be on their way to adapting Plastic Man for the big screen, with Keanu Reeves in the title role, Plastic Man/Eel O'Brien. News of that: http://chud.com/articles/articles/15582/1/WILL-KEANU-REEVES-BE-STRETCHING-HIMSELF-FOR-THE-WACHOWSKI-BROS/Page1.html I've only really read the Kyle Baker books he did on Plastic Man, and seen him appear in various stories by Frank Miller and others who included him in Justice League stories, so I really don't have a tenuous hold on this one. | Well the thread does sort of already exist in the Entertainment forum, but it isn't manga-specific.
Right now I'm going through a HUGE stack of graphic novels before Comic-Con next week, but the manga titles I'm going through right now are: - Priest 1-16 (Hyung Min-woo) -- Akira Vol. 1-6 (Katsuhiro Otomo) Figured it was finally time to sit down and read it as opposed to just going off what I remember from the movie - Lone Wolf and Cub (Kazuo Koike, Goseki Kojima) Bought the first 8 volumes for $1 each at Anime Expo As for that stack of graphic novels I mentioned. | Helena set herself down against the tall and expansive chain-link fence of the yard. She tucked her legs up against herself and thought deeply about her situation.
She didn't belong here. Not in this freak show. Not in the world outside. Not anywhere. She avoided talking in group, thinking that if she spoke up she might inadvertently show acceptance of her situation. She would never consider herself one of these guys especially after hearing their stories or how much they argued. Helena crossed her arms around her knees, buried her face in them and sobbed a little. "It was an accident. Oh god. Somebody help me..." |

| Helena looked up suddenly, wiping her eyes and nose as quickly as she could, frightened that someone caught her at such a vulnerable and weakened state.
She looked up at Michael with her startling golden eyes, red and puffy from her tears. "No.. uh.. thank you. I was just... I dunno. Um... sorry to bother you with my..." She shrieked slightly as she quickly intook some air, and more salty tears streamed down her face. Without thinking she snatched Michael's left hand and placed it to her right cheek, feeling its warmth. Human body heat had become so foreign to Helena for so many years that a simple touch was comforting to her. Instantly soothing her in her anxiety attack, she passed out. | Whatever works for you, really, Shuyin.
I do strongly recommend reading Watchmen sometime, though. If you follow super heroes at all, you might find that Watchmen completely rocks the boat of your standard super hero archetypes. It's also somewhat frightening to read after the occurrences of 9/11 considering it was written in the '80s and makes some pretty spooky predictions of human behavior. |

| Seems like the most recent was after being on my feet (on concrete floors while wearing Converse-like shoes with no socks of inner padding) for 5 days while volunteering for Anime Expo a couple weeks ago.
Seriously, that REALLY sucked. I felt like I had worn down the natural padding of my feet and was walking on the bones. On top of that I was getting up at 3 and 4 in the morning just to get ready each morning and catch my train in time to get to work at the convention center at 8 a.m. I also was falling asleep at midnight or soon after it every night. What's your zodiac sign and do you fit the characteristics that have been listed for said sign? |
