They actually published something that the president of the club said during a feud between them an the campus Latino club over their bringing the Minutemen to campus. They published it unedited, with a disclaimer stating that it was unedited at the top, and then Duke (do you remember him from LBCC?) ripped him a new one. So, it seemed here that people forgot it was April Fool's day. I couldn't think of anything good to do to people, and no one tried anything on me. Overall I think the only thing that could be considered a joke was the conflicker worm, since nothing happened with it at all. |

| I really go back and forth on it. I usually drink it black, but sometimes I will put in one packet of sugar if I think it needs it. Honestly though, good coffee should not need sugar or cream to be good.

| Basically, the bonuses were to keep soldiers in because no one wanted to join the military. Recession hits, people start losing their jobs and cannot get new ones, so military starts looking like a good option, and recruitment picks up. Because recruitment picks up, they no longer need to bribe soldiers to stay in, so no more bonuses and instead that money goes to pay the new soldiers since the military is on a fixed budget like the rest of the government.
You get your actual pay, at least that isn't being cut. And while you say you need that money you have to look at it this way: who needs it more, you or that guy that just joined up because he lost his job and his house and has no where else to go but the army? |

| Crystle walked into the restaurant, shifting her backpack on her shoulder as she moved. Her black hair was pulled back in a ponytail today, a rare thing but it was warm outside. She wore black cargo jeans and a black Marilyn Manson t-shirt, along with her favorite pair of Vans sneakers. Around her neck were her three favorite necklaces, a blue-black beaded choker, a long silver necklace with a crystal charm that she used for scrying, and in the middle of those two was her trademark pentacle necklace. As the school's only openly practicing Pagan she got a lot of weird looks, but she didn't let it bother her. To be honest, she found it gave her more amusing things to watch, since she largely preferred to watch others than do anything herself... other than school work.
She eyed the other three as she followed the waitress to a small booth next to theirs. She had seen them around school, and she had the girl in one of her classes. She wasn't sure what grade they were in, since none were in her homeroom. | Fuck my keycard for falling out of my car and getting lost! I am going to have to go through hell to get a new one and it is not fun.
Oh yeah, and a further note on my work. We have signs we put up when we have to shut down a booth that direct them to go to the other one. What do they do? That's right, drive up to the booth anyway. I put cones in the lane on Tuesday to get the point across better... they drove around them! Of course, they do that at the entrance all of the time... drive around the arm bar after moving the cones and when we yell at them or tell them they have to pay max for not having a ticket they say they did it because they thought we were not open. If you think that we are not open, then why are you coming in? I'm not that stupid, people. Oh, and fuck the stupid bitch I had to deal with on Tuesday. Members at the aquarium get this card that is good for a certain amount of parking validations, I think it's for 5. They have to show it at the aquarium and they mark it off and stamp their parking ticket. It's been that way as long as I have worked there. This lady drives up to my booth and hands me her unstamped ticket and that card. I tell her what she needed to do. She bitches at me, claiming she's been a member for 10 years and that this is ridiculous and all that shit, but backs up and goes to the aquarium (which she probably hadn't even been at that day). She comes back and hands me the validated ticket and the card again. I hand her the card back saying she keeps that, and she gives me a disgusted look and continues in her bitchy voice: Her: Aren't you going to punch it? Me: No, that is the aquarium's job, not mine. Her: Oh, so I can get free parking as much as I want? Great! *Speeds off* Note that last line was said with utter contempt. Seriously, who the fuck bitches about free parking? I wanted to tell her off so bad. I actually flipped off her car as she drove up the hill. Seriously, I was so pissed off that day that I broke down when I got home. Shaking with rage does not even begin to cover it. |

| The one with Majin Buu, just because it was hardest in my opinion. I don't really know if I have a favorite character, though I think I will pick Vegeta just because I like how much he grows during the series. Otherwise, Mr. Satan and Buu paring up makes for fun times.

| So the people in the military get paid like anyone else from the middle class. My dad was an industrial painter for 30 years and he only made that much a year, and we lived comfortably. You realize they make almost $20 an hour? I highly doubt that a server at Chili's makes that much, most of what they make comes from tips, so you can't compare the two because.
And also, with the free college education and hands on training, once soldiers are out of the military they have the chance to make WAY more than that, depending on what their qualifications are. Plus, they get free housing and medical care. Do you know how valuable that is? A one-time $20,000 bonus is not that big of a deal when you look at it then, especially when the government can put that money to better use helping the people who don't even have jobs. |

The parking lot is visable from the window, I can observe from here and intervene if need be. Besides, there is something I want to do. Crystle slid out of the booth and walked up to Sarah's table, telling the waitress to come back in a few minutes. She turned one of the chairs around and sat on it backwards, looking at the girl. Crystle herself was 5'7", which was tall for a girl but Sarah was much taller, so looking at her hunched over reminded her of a weeping willow tree. "Study group with the dimwit squad again?" |

I love this show, it has been so entertaining so far. The Christmas episode was just so sweet and sad at the same time, and I felt so bad for both Taiga and Minorin at the end. Honestly though, I think that Ryuuji and Taiga go best together, as both are the most down to earth. Minorin has some issues she needs to work on, as demonstrated with the baseball thing. Ami, while very worldly, also doesn't make a good choice because she is so worldly... I mean, she's taking a break from modeling right now but where would the relationship go once she went back to it?

I saw Divided by zero on New Years and it was just wrong... wrong and hilarious. I love the AMV Hell series so much, though sometimes I want to smack people for the pairings. Also, I agree with Rogue about 0, they reuse stuff way too much.

This little romance tail is pretty interesting. It was originally a game that had you playing the main character, Tomoya, and through various choices and situations you ended up with one of the girls that he went to high school with. The series is pretty close to the game, but it is very well done and very funny. Then there is Clannad After Story which picks up where the first series left off and was apparently a special set of events in the game that unlocked if you chose that character (you know who it is if you watch it).

Overall, the story is very touching and in some ways pretty fucked up at times. Events that happened in After Story actually brought tears to my boyfriend's eyes. So yes, thoughts? | |||||||||||||
