Ex-nurse admits assault on patient Man pleads guilty to sodomy, receives sentence of eight years in prison, 12 on probation BY ALAN RIQUELMY - ariquelmy@ledger-enquirer.com -- A former male nurse accused of taking sexual advantage of a male hospital patient pleaded guilty to the charges on what was scheduled to be the first day of his trial. Thomas E. Berryhill, 60, chose to plead guilty Monday after Muscogee County Superior Court Judge Doug Pullen decided to allow testimony from a male relative whom prosecutors said Berryhill had molested some 20 years ago when the relative was between 13 and 17 years old. Before a jury had been chosen to hear the case, Berryhill stood before the judge and pleaded guilty to sodomy and sexual assault against a hospital patient. A charge of aggravated sodomy against Berryhill was dismissed. Pullen sentenced him to eight years in prison, followed by 12 years on probation. "I haven't really thought about it, your honor," Berryhill said when asked if he had anything to say. "I just know I'm not the man I once was. God has changed my life." Berryhill orally sodomized a sleeping man who had gone to St. Francis Hospital complaining of chest pains on March 30, 2006. When the man awoke, Berryhill ran from the room. The man then found paper tissue and saliva in his underwear. The victim testified at Berryhill's first appearance hearing that the nurse re-entered the room, apologized and asked what he could do to make the situation right. "It hurts," the man said. "It really does. Whatever the court feels reasonable and fair, I'm OK with it." | [19:39] Xeogred: Here's the news: Erk thought it would be a good idea to upgrade his server to PHP5. Acmlm boards don't work with this and I believe unless DarkSlaya or someone can do some recoding for the entire board, we're pretty much forced to move to a new host. I'm stressed as it is and without a job money isn't going to be easy to throw out here, so this may take days or even longer to finally get setup. Database and everything is backed up, just need to get the files off the FTP and we're good. Pass this around if you want.

| You people are spoiled. I DL at 100 KB a second, and I have a 1.2 GH Processor, 64DDR Graphics card, and 340-something MB of RAM.
And im fine with what I have, it gets the job done at speeds I like. |
