| Cairoi, if you don't mind coming out to California for it then sure you can come. But yeah, we are going to have a semi-long engagement most likely. We are getting ready to move and there is going to be a lot of hectic times as we get settled. Once we are stable out there we are driving back out here for the wedding since most of our family lives out here.
I find it very amusing that you all make comments about me growing up when I am older than most of you... or all of you perhaps. *has to think about that* And Katana, move date estimate is mid November. |

| This seems like something that should have gone in the interviews, but okay...
What are you interested in, Elara? Ok, I am gonna be honest here, it has taken me a long time to work through things and come up with the core things I look for. First off is honesty, I have been lied to so many times by past boyfriends, and nothing pisses me off more. Even lies to "protect my feelings", which are often the most painful ones. You want to win my heart, then treat me with respect and be bluntly honest... I am not a fragile little doll, I can take it. Sure, I may not be happy, but I will get over it and thank you for being honest. Second is open-minded, it irks me when people refuse to see an opinion other than their own, or let a preconception keep them from trying something new. Third is sense of humor, I joke around a lot, and I poke fun at things... if you cannot handle that then don't bother trying. Intellect, get one. Have opinions, think independently, read books, be able to debate with me. Patience, I hate people that get pissed when they have to wait for things, chill out. Nerdiness... I am not saying that you have to play D&D, though I would like it if you gave it a try, but I am a nerd so it helps if we have some of that in common. Nice eyes, it is a must, and a bit of squishiness when poked... I am self-conscious about my own weight so it helps if you are not a twig. Who have I dated? I have dated/gone after the gothy rocker type, the stoner, the quasi-jock, the shy manipulator, the hyper guy, the theater geek, the hard-core nerd, the outgoing actor, and the somewhat bitter sci-fi loving average nerd. I am engaged to that last one. He isn't tall dark and handsome. He is an inch shorter than me, average appearence, with long dark hair... very Russian Jew look... we joke that he looks like Jesus. Also can pull off Rob Zombie. |
