| We have Armstrong, since it is also the only real internet company in the area what we can get since they won't let Verizon run their lines on the poles... I hate them so much.
I friend of mine posted this link and I just felt that I had to repost it because it is so easy for most people to forget that among the thousands that are dead and missing there are also a large amount of animals who have fallen victim to this disaster as well. I am usually pretty good about staying calm when reading and watching reports about disasters like this... but that report finally made me tear up. Swagbucks, a search engine website thing that I use, is raising money for a relief fund and I donated to that with what little I could. There is also the site Tofugu.com (whose owner wrote his own textbook for learning Japanese and posts fun videos) who has said that he will be donating 110% of all proceeds from sales on his site from now until he runs out of money to do it. Locally I have not seen much in the way of people raising money or doing much to help, but I would hope that I will see more in the days to come. |

| So I finally have some ideas... if you get the chance....
Take one of the lines of dice from this picture (whichever fits best) and pair it with the word "Gamer"... this replaces the D&D Master (since I don't play the D&D system anymore). Any row of old books, kinda like this and the word "Historian". Replacing the Oblivion Player. A sideways guitar, preferably a Warlock, and the word "Metal Fan". I found a good selection of guitar pics that you could choose and cut from. If lightning could somehow be worked it the background, that would be cool. That would of course replace the Manson one. Oh... and I don't know if it is possible to have a forth one... but if so one that says "Penguins Fan" would be awesome... any image of the Pittsburgh Penguins logo should do. Long story short, Libya's dictator started slaughtering his own people for daring to protest his regime like what has been happening in other countries. Libyans asked for help, the UN declared a No Fly Zone to keep Gadhafi from bringing in mercenaries to slaughter millions... and the Libyan government declared a "cease fire" to try and dissuade them from enforcing it... then immediately broke the cease fire. I don't know if they violated the NFZ, but it would not surprise me. So the UN decided to take action, apparently lead by the French. |

I found the speech to be very clear in laying out the reasons for our actions, and I agree with them. I also found the commentary on MSNBC afterwards to be amusing as they talked about how some Republicans went from criticizing Obama for inaction and demanding that he do something to condemning him for doing exactly what they had demanded. |
