| I think Boogy Woogie Wu is the only one of their songs I could even listen to all the way through once. I have friends that got ICP tattoos... I am gonna laugh when they leave that phase.
As for me... well, there isn't anything right now that I would consider a guilty pleasure... but back in the day... well, in my little rap phase I was quite fond of Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio (yeah, you read that right, I at one point liked rap... I think it was from 5th-6th grade) Then there was the pop period (I was a tween)... I ashamedly admit to owning albums by the Spice Girls, Nsync, Hanson, and the Backstreet Boys... and nearly got Brittany Spears. ... you know what saved me? Twelve Angry Viewers on MTV saved me, because one day back in 1998 (or late '97) they put Marilyn Manson's video for Tourniquet on the chopping block and I was forever changed. The video passed, by the way. |

Congrats on the classes. I took the Miller Analogies Test today to get to work on Graduate admissions at Slippery Rock University. I had effectively three days worth of studying, and I choked like crazy... and still managed to pull off an above average score (437/600... average is apparently 400)... still have to wait two weeks to see what my percentile ranks are since that is what matters on this test, but I feel better knowing I at least got above the average score. In other news... does it seem like a bad idea to you guys for a really really (and I mean really) overweight person to wear a shirt with the logo for Crush orange soda on it? Or any shirt that says "Crush"? |

| And what about the people like me that do not like raiding? Other that cost, I quit because I didn't like raiding... no time for it, and it shouldn't be all about raid gear... I mean, what is the point of crafting if low level raid gear is better than the highest level crafting.
Granted, I quit before Wrath came out. I wanna play again, it is just a time/cost issue... I really think that Blizzard overcharges considering that all the other really huge MMORPGs run free or like half the price. |

| So Ben discovered a nifty series from 2007 called Michael Palin's New Europe.... in which Michael Palin (Monty Python actor, no relation to that other Palin.... ugh) tours the European countries formerly behind the Iron Curtain (and Turkey) to not only learn about their cultures but to see how the political changes have effected them since the fall of the Soviet Union. The segment on Turkey seemed a bit out of place, but still awesome, and talked a lot about the potential of Turkey joining the European Union. All in all it was a really neat series and I enjoyed it a lot.
Apparently Latvia still holds pagan celebrations for days like Midsummer. This made me strangely happy. |

Sugar glider = cutest thing! I also think ferrets are cool, but they are very high maintenance as well. The only exotic pet that I would really really really like would be a grey wolf. Dangerous, yes, but awesome. ... I will probably just end up getting a Malamute instead though, more tame. |
