| God, just fuck yourself, Auntie Beth.
She called me just after I entered the new Dinosaur Hall at the Natural History Museum (which I'd been dying to see for years, back when they first started the refurbishments) to go off on me about my dad's stuff in my grandmother's garage and demand her change from the money she gave us to go get lunch for her and my cousin from four different places (Arby's sandwiches, Church's chicken, fountain drinks from 7-Eleven, burgers from Carl's Jr) THREE WEEKS AGO. The change was $11, and sorry to say, but it went into Brandon's tank. Now I've got to pay her out of my pocket. She keeps calling me to take care of crap around my grandmother's house and says she paid me to do all these things so I should do them ($50 for weeding the roses 2 months ago, and she has me waxing cabinets and fogging the house, getting poison all over my hands because the cap on the damn foggers were so cheap and broke off). Anyway, her calling me today. It was to move everything in the garage (which she referred to as my dad's "junk" despite most of the stuff being from the house, cleared out for the realtor) out tomorrow because she's having guys come over Thursday to work on the garage door. Why the fuck didn't you tell us about this sooner?! What's more, why is she calling ME and not either of my parents?!?! Put me in a pretty shitty mood for a good chunk of the day. I'm concerned I've lost my relationship with my cousins, her sons, over this shit, but they will always side with her and she's turning her bullshit on me. | It's a webseries about a group of people who play an MMORPG together and decide to meet in person, and thus begins the comedy of their offline lives together.
The main character is Codex (played by Felicia Day), a self-conscious, former child prodigy with so many mental hang-ups even her therapist "fired" her. Every episode starts out with her talking to her Webcam, ala LonelyGirl15. The other characters all have different quirks and things that annoy the others. Don't want to give too much away on that. Each episode is like 2-9 minutes long, and they're up to season 5 now. My boyfriend and I got to be extras for a few episodes since they filmed the majority of the fifth season at a comic convention in Long Beach (tons of secret, special guests). The entire series is watchable on their website: WatchTheGuild.com (you can seriously power through several seasons in a day) I do warn ya. Since it all started as Felicia Day starting her own thing, the quality of the first season pales in comparison to the latter seasons. It just goes to show when you start small, you can still achieve greatness. It gets better as you watch. A while back they also put out a music video to advertise their third season and it went viral. | I've actually been teetering on a full-on stomach explosion all day. Made way too much bacon for breakfast (around 11:30 or noon), ate a double cheeseburger and fried zucchini for lunch a couple hours later, and then my parents insisted on getting Mexican food for dinner.
I figured so long as I only ate a little, boxed the rest, and then just drank water the rest of the night I would escape heartburn or upset stomach. Then that Brandon comes in and waves the ice cream I've been reading about on Facebook all week. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Probably going to get up and make some more bacon for breakfast in a few hours.
