| I got ridiculously giddy yesterday at the library since it looks like whoever does the purchasing for the graphic novels finally updated the collection a bit.
So I've got: Transmetropolitan Vol. 10 Chew Vol. 3 Ooku Vol. 6 Unwritten Vol. 4 Holy Terror (I'd been meaning to get this since Frank Miller's sanity is starting to slip and I hear this one is just AWFUL and falls back on spreading hate toward Muslims. | Can't leave my house. The neighborhood's on total lockdown as there's a suspect running through my neighborhood on foot. Helicopters are circling and cop cars keeping driving up and down my street.
My mom can't get into the neighborhood and my boyfriend can't leave for band practice. This just adds to the insanely surreal week I've had so far. I was in a theater in Arizona when a woman was going insane, shrieking, hitting people, managing to get away after shoving her spiked heel in people's groins. We're all pretty sure she was high on something because she kept moaning something about being faithful. We thought she finally left, but when we got outside the cops were still fighting to control her and when they finally just went to tazer her she kept screaming, "You're racist! You're racist! They're watching you! The world is watching you!! YOU'RE RACIST!!!" She was white. The cops were white. Everyone watching was white. Anyway, my condolences to your brother. | WARNING. TRAILER IS NOT QUITE SAFE FOR WORK!!
Ignore that last 30 seconds of so of video. The official one that was released didn't have the sound synced, and this was the only other one on YouTube. So when we thought it was all over with American Wedding, the franchise (which has spawned way too many straight-to-video spin-off starring Eugene Levy) was apparently just sleeping. Well, at least they managed to bring everyone back for this one, including Mena Suvari, Tara Reid, and Chris Klein. Good god, would Stifler's mom still be a MILF? Now I'm wondering if John Cho will be making an appearance as one of the guys calling her that. Still, not sure if I'll see this. |

Since Spider-Man 3 just sort of stuck in everyone's craw, it was decided to reboot the franchise film-wise. So they're starting from the VERY beginning with Peter being left with Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Superman is on the way as well with its own reboot reflecting Batman's. What are your thoughts? |

| The first Ghost Rider was painful to watch and actually pissed me off in parts. They might as well have made a sequel to Daredevil.
The first one had a nice looking trailer, even had freaking Sam Elliott in it, and it was still terrible. Here's hoping it's one of those rare occurrences when the sequel is better than the original. |
