| By reusing an old assignment. I had to do a lesson plan for my Teaching ELL class... I reused one that I did for my Teaching Social Studies class and adapted it for ELLs. Still an assload of work.

I really have no idea what our holiday plans are. I think I am working on Yule, as usual, so not much there. Oh... right... going to the local brewery for a Yule Log thing on the 19th (close enough for me) and I have the 24th and 25th off (thank you, Sam's Club) so we will probably do something. We still haven't gotten a tree this year. Probably should work on that. |

| Yeah... I really don't get the people that are like "Today is horrible, you should be sad!"
Yes, it is sad and I am upset by it, and it sickens me... but my life does not revolve around it. I also had a final, and then an after finals party with my classmates, and it was fun. I do admit that I got annoyed at people that were painfully unaware of what was going on.... and unlike certain snide comments suggest it was not directed at people who were at work and unable to watch the news or anything, but at the stupid fucks that spend all damn day on Facebook and somehow still had no clue what was going on. Those people always piss me off. |

| So I saw it in IMAX 3D today... it was fucking awesome! Honestly though, could have done without the 3D.
But yeah, the part where the dwarves are singing gives me chills every time I hear it. I do have to say though that I don't really like the version of the Song of The Lonely Mountain that they play during the credits since it doesn't use the lyrics from the book from what I can tell. |

| Going to the brewery tonight for the Yule Log celebration. Next year I am going to try to do my own, but there are a lot of people that gather stuff for it all year long and I just find that daunting.
Also... despite the high number of birds around here, I have yet to see a feather drop. I find this very strange. |

| I did cards. Parents got a gift, few friends that got me a gift got a gift. Ben gets a gift (even though we said that the massive amount of money we spent on miniatures would be our collective gift)... and his mom gets a gift.
We've been trying to decide what we want to do for Christmas dinner and just had the idea of tamales... can't do them from scratch because we can't get the ingredients... so I plan to call the one local Mexican place that I heard of that does tamales and ask if it is possible to get some. |
