| Amusingly, I've been watching the History Channel's scripted drama, Vikings, pretty voraciously.
But why are they also putting out The Bible? Anyway, I really dug Hatfields & McCoys, and Vikings is proving to be a pretty great show thus far. If you like Game of Thrones or Spartacus, you can get into it. Also, going to try to see the Lucy exhibit this weekend. |

| I've been watching RuPaul's Drag Race and Face Off, and in the past I got sucked into things like Survivor and Hell's Kitchen.
As for shows that aren't competitions, Bridezillas was one of my guilty pleasures and I've been watching Freakshow on AMC, which Brandon and I were extras on for an episode. Do you voluntarily watch horror movies? |

Thought it was going to be a bit ecchi based on the name, but it wasn't really. Pretty much your typical regular school girl discovers she's more than she seems -- the daughter of famous "legal" pirates -- and now must fulfill her destiny. You know, of captaining a crew of "legal" pirates. Eh, I haven't really watched anime in a while. |

GAAAAAHH! I wrote out this long post and instead of submitting, it gave me an SQL error and deleted everything I wrote.

I pretty much said that I get that the Governor is supposed to be this great villain in the books and they don't want to lose him on the show (especially since Shane lasted an extra season), but they spent the entire season building to this big battle that was a big mountain of bullshit. The Woodburians get into the prison, get scared off, and when they leave who is it that decimates the Governor's army? Oh, that's right. THE GOVERNOR. I know he's supposed to be crazy, but seriously? The only thing we really got out of the finale is that Rick's abandonment of humanity is destroying Carl. He's shooting people in cold blood without any sense of remorse now.

Finally saw Django Unchained. I liked it, but it got convoluted when Christoph Waltz and Django were plotting how to get his wife back.

Still it had some of the funniest scene I've seen in a movie in a while.

When it comes to accuracy, it seems fairly close, but there's definitely liberties taken.

Like the main character's wife is a shield maiden, a very famous one from real life and legend, Lagertha. They do her hair when she goes into battle with chain mail on the side and the hair lady on crew has said that she's striving for a "rock 'n' roll look" (source: http://www.history.com/shows/vikings/videos/vikings-hair-design. But they do follow the culture and the history. The main character is Ragnar, a famous viking. And I mentioned Lagertha. It's a really good show. There's only been 5 episodes thus far and it comes on on Sundays at 10 (so it's the same time as Game of Thrones  ).

Saw Warm Bodies. I liked it. More than Zombieland even, though Z-land had other quirky things going for it (I just wasn't feeling the Columbus/Wichita love story).

Jesus, so many people brought their kids who all kept talking, shouting, and screaming throughout the film while other people loudly went, "SHHHHHHH!!" Distracting, much? Anyway, I thought the movie was cute.

To answer my own question again, no, I do not voluntarily watch horror. That is, unless it's campy and more funny (ex: Army of Darkness, Planet Terror, etc).
