| I cried off and on all day at work that day... and I still keep tearing up at random things related to the shooting.
And once more, I will hope for change without really expecting it. Already they are trying to overshadow that this was a hate crime as well as an act of terrorism. It would have been both if the shooter's name had been Joe Smith and quoted Leviticus or something... but they would have never called it that. It sickens me. |

Pros and Cons of Butler, PA... hmn... Well... pros would be a relatively low cost of living, thunderstorms, and a real autumn. Cons... isolation, heavily right-wing Christian population, heavily entitled population,, humidity, winter, and Pennsylvania having backwards as fuck laws. That and, you know, being 5000 miles away from most of my family and friends. So, E3 just happened... what caught your eye the most? |

| I still am in shock that it passed. I heard that the margin was so close that they might have to have second vote, but I don't know if that is actually going to happen or not. Gods, I hope so... but as John Oliver said, "There are no fucking do-overs!"

So... did you guys see the reactions to what Trump said the day after the Brexit vote when he was in Scotland? I think that we should adopt some of their insults. But seriously... he terrifies me. In other news, we have a partial endorsement of Hillary from Bernie... I am sure an official one will follow the convention. I am happy that he is fighting for a more progressive platform, even though he has largely accepted that he will not be getting the nomination. | I find the choice of VP for both sides uninspired. I get why Clinton chose Kaine, though. While Bernie supporters would have liked a more liberal choice, like Warren... going with Kaine can help her pull those center and left leaning Republicans that are outright terrified of Trump and Pence. |
