I only read the second comic, the one with the Islamic stuff, but I find it offensive. Not because of the religious stuff, just how he approaches it. "See, your book is wrong. Why? Well, because my book says it is." What has religion gone to? That's why I'm agnostic. Because it is impossible for one religion to be completely right. For instance, I believe in Christ. But I don't believe that he was the son of God. We all are. I also believe in reincarnation, Buddha, and the other enlightened masters, such as Yogananda Parmahanse (sp.), and others that I'm not going to list, because I will botch their spelling. But that is all for a different thread....hm.... |

| Yeah, I saw this movie the other day, and it is great. Every aspect is done well. I hate, hate, hate Leonardo DiCaprio, even though he is a great actor, and was terrific in this. I got him and Mat Damon confused a little at the beginning, and it was oh so long. They could have cut a half hour by getting rid of most of the stuff with the girl though. Either way, it was great.

| Well, then it's still there, just owned by E! But really, this channel has gone straight to hell. It used to be a show for gamers, geeks, and hackers. Now they play things like Formula D, Braniac, and Bonzai. And they have gotten too sexual. I mean, it was okay for them to make sex jokes before, but geeky sex jokes. Not going to Vegas for a week, and having a segment called "In your pants" where they give sex advice. They killed cheat, then resurrected its rotting, smelly, disgusting corpse, and put on some ditsy blonde, and they give us "The lists we didn't even know we needed". Well, we don't need them. I don't need to know the best party spots. That show counted down the best games. They ruined Cheat too, but I won't get into that. The Screen Savers (which I still call it, it is not Attack of the Show) is awful now. They lost everyone good on that show: Kevin Rose, Luigi, The chinese chick, Sarah Lane, Brendan Moran. All that's left is Kevin Perrera, and to put it frankly, he is just annoying. I miss Kevin Rose. I hate the three newbies they have on now. The only new show that even slightly belongs on there is Star Trek. Next Generation, not 2.0. 2.0 is lame. 2.0 FTL. They lost Judgement Day, no clue why. That show was awesome. Electronic Playground is gone, although I saw it on late one night, and they were talking about recent stuff, so who knows. The only show that is worth tuning in for is X Play. They have a crappy as set now, but oh well, at least the show is fundamentally the same. So for the most part, G4 fails.
I miss Kevin... EDIT: Oh, yeah. Arrested Development, while a great show (one of my favorites, I own the entire series) does not belong on G4 (Last edited by FX on 10-15-06 04:19 AM) |

Yay, someone else feels this passionate about G4. Now to respond to everything you said:
Hate the new set. They're trying to make it high tech and edgy. Shows in the film style that they use now too. I loved the old set. It looks like a living room, it makes you feel homey. They are your friends hanging out with you. I liked that feeling.
Well, AotS was a good replacement at first, since it was in essence the same show, with a revamped set. Didn't like the set at first. I watched TSS religiously, and when I saw the last episode, where they said it was the last episode, I choked. Then they said they were gonna be on a new show in a week, but I thought it was a different show with the same cast. And yeah, AotS is still okay, but I just watch the podcast, so I can just see the clips that I find interesting. And is it me, or have they stopped doing sketches? Office Jesus FTW.

Yeah, a few months after they left the show, they had a video thingy, and Kevin said: "Let's watch what the Morans have done on their one year journey around the world." Although Sarah still introduced herself as Sarah Lane. I assume the trip was their honeymoon. So maybe they'll come back when they're done? One can only hope.
I'll have to disagree with you there. I hate Krison Holt. She may have looks, but she just seems so fake when she's hosting. That smile just doesn't feel real, because that's all it is, the only facial expression she's got. I didn't really like the old host, but now that he's gone, I realize what I had. He was really into it. You could tell that he actually cared and loved. Look at the embarrassing things he did. Kristan will never compare to him. I didn't really watch G4tv.com, although what I saw was good. The guy still writes for OXM, has a page in the back of each issue. And doesn't that white haired host look like that one chick from DOA? And I didn't notice much of a difference after they bought Tech TV. The biggest I saw, was that they started going by G4 Tech TV, but then they got bored of that after a few months and went back to just G4. |

Ability: None yet....it's a really long list... Character Discription: Capos is a handsome man, with long blond hair that he keeps tied back. He wears thin plate armor all over his body, except his fingers, which he keeps exposed. He rarely wears a helmet, but when he does it leaves most of his face exposed, as to keep his peripheral vision unhindered. |
