| Minimum wage in the US is $6.75/hour actually, which compared to some other countries is pretty damn good.
I'm going to be working as a cashier at my college bookstore starting in a few weeks. The job is fairly simple: ring up items, fill out book request forms, blah blah blah... what you usually deal with at a bookstore. It pays minimum wage, but it's better than nothing. Of course, come October I will be working the best job in the world again: Shipwreck Monster. I get paid $8/hour to do the following: *Dress up in a costume *Scare people *Have fun |

| Okay, I read that fight and I just need to point out one little thing that you seem to have overlooked: He godmodded in his attack right before that, even stating that there was no way out. To quote it exactly:
"There was no escape for her, Mika's foolish arrogance had brought an end to her life, there was no way out, there was nowhere to escape to, no where to run, no where to hide. OOC: If you teleport away, I'll bring in all of Shin-Ra's fighting force to kill you, I don't like cowards who run from the battlefield because they're in an impossible position. :p" I've noticed that in a lot of your groups battles, you use moves that are either blatent godmods or walk a razor-thin line along the border. Most people in simbattles do, but you guys seem to do it more than others. Now, to be perfectly honest with you, since you all talk of being the most well known and all that, I have never heard of you before at all, ever. I'm not saying that you aren't special, I'm just saying that you obviously are not as big as you say. Also, personally, I don't see many people bitching in the fights about the lengths of your posts, but about what you are doing in them (going back to the godmodding attacks). You call people on godmodding after forcing them to godmod in order to get out of your godmod attacks. It's people like that who ruin the fun for everyone and make it so no one wants to sim... hypocrits make terrible opponents. Now, I may seem like I'm coming off like a bitch, but I am just being bluntly honest with you. Your groups tactics at getting your way are low, very low, and not appriciated. THAT is why staff has issues with some of your members. To be honest, a few of you are decent, but you all seriously need to puncture your egos and quit trying to prove that you are better than everyone else, because if you have to prove it, then you obviously are not. |

| To be perfectly honest, I've been tired of this petty feud since the day it started.
"I'm better" "No, I am" "No your not, I am!" etc. It's old, drop it. And we use the rules used by most Acmlm boards (at least everyone I've ever been to). I can explain all of my techniques, but by using D&D rules, since my main sim character is a character that I created using the 3.5 D&D rules for diety creation. Actually, my sim character is a toned down version of my actual character, because some of her abilities would be pure "godmods" by the rules. The only one that is tough is Dark Halo, and that is because it was not originally mine. |

Well, "emo" has been covered fairly well. As for goth... well, true goths are pretty hard to find anymore. Here is the urban dictionary definition of Goth, which I find rather accurate.

1. Goth Someone who likes the darker side of things. They usually listen to death metal and goth music, such as Dismember and Bauhaus. Marilyn Manson is NOT goth. He's just...weird. Real goths are not depressing and suicidal like the posers you see at Hot Topic. Goths are fun to be around and aren't afraid to laugh at themselves every so often. They don't worship Satan and aren't evil despite what some ignorant people might say. Goths don't all dress alike either. They like to create their own unique style. Goths are also very intelligent and creative. A lot of them are writers and artists. Goths DON'T envy the popular people. They are what they are because it makes them happy. Goths would rather stay who they are and be among the so called "freaks" than be like everyone else and be popular. They understand that there are more important things in life than popularity, and usually succeed in life while the popular ones don't become much of anything. If someone becomes "goth" because they couldn't get any friends or are depressed and angry all the time, they are most likely a poser.

Flogging Molly is awesome! I have one of their albums (Within A Mile of Home) on my computer, but I really want to get the rest of them. The music style itself is very good to listen to, and the singer has a really good voice.

I'm a Wiccan Discordian with strong Druidic influence. I've been a Wiccan since 1999 when I discovered it, I've technically been a Discordian since 2001, but only recently have I really been studying it, and I've been studying Druidry for about a year now.

I call myself Wiccan because I follow that primary structure, also because Wicca is the only one of the three paths that is a federally recognized religion. I'd be considered a polythestic mono-duotheist if you want to be technical... to put it in laymans terms: I believe in a greater power that has many forms, but basically just two, a goddess and a god. I was baptized Lutheran when I was a baby, but I never went to church, and when I tried to understand none of it felt right to me. When I read about Wicca it clicked. I met a Wiccan girl at Disneyland one day and we exchanged email addresses, and her fiancee was a Discordian. He declared me one then, and my current boyfriend (who is a Discordian pope) has actually helped me learn more about the religion, which is essentially a parody of itself. I see it as more of a philosophy personally, one that helps you to have more fun in life, and so I choose to follow it. My best friend is a Druid, which is a spiritual path very simular to Wicca but focuses on Celtic influences and study. I take many influences from Druidry and am studying it as well so that I may become more well rounded. Leviathan, so are you actually a card carrying member of the Church of Satan or do you just take inspiration from it? Van: A bit of a lesson on true Satanism. Satanists, at least members of the Church of Satan (founded by Anton LeVay) do not sacrifice things and generally do not like killing at all. Rumors about them performing animal sacrifices or killing babies is entirely untrue, for the in fact find the notion of such things to be abhorrant. Satanists believe in indulging oneself in the pleasures of life. They rever Satan and Cain over Jesus and Abel. The stereotype of the Satanist that we all know are just cruel idiots who call themselves Satanists just to get a rise out of people... and Santarians, who do perform animal sacrifices... usually chickens. I could go on, but I believe that I cleared that up fairly well. I learned all that when I did a research project on the misconceptions of Paganism in modern society. I was actually surprised to learn it as well, but it gave me a respect for members of the Church of Satan. However, the "wannabe Satanists" that are into the killing and all that still disgust me for their actions, which give all Pagans a bad name.

That is just the problem, no one can seem to agree one what to do about it. Politicians are just using these attacks to try and get more power for their own party. They don't care about doing anything about it, they only care about themselves.

I do a bit, used a bokken and a shinai (sp?) before, as well as sticks. I don't really have any formal training, so I kinda suck at it, but it really is a lot of fun. |

I have a puzzle, a few gif icons, my adopted anime kitty, basic bio, info on the Cult of the Dark Goddess, Moonie XGF banner and info on the Moonie Army, my TGC cards (that aren't showing up for some reason), and 15 quiz results that I feel give people a pretty good look at what kind of person I am based on the results. |
