| Why?
Simple, there is the obvious arousal part of looking at hentai, but there is also the artistic value as well. Do you know how hard it is to draw the human body that well? Even in anime form it's hard to get proportions right and such thing, so if they manage to draw it well enough that it can get that kind of response out of people then it truely has artistic value. Also, the human body itself is a work of art, unaltered. People can appriciate the female/male form, clothed or not, and that is something that one must just accept. Then, as mentioned above, some people watch it for humorous reasons. Overdone acting in hentai dubs is the funniest thing in the world! Also, the sheer stupidity of some plot lines is both compelling and hilarious... take La Blue Girl for example. C'mon, you know the phrase "behold my sexcraft" makes you at least crack a smile, if not laugh out loud. Aside from all that... we're just perverts. Geeky perverts. |

| Shanan, a shield is considered a type of armor. Unless that is your weapon, and I am sure that sheild-bashing will only get you so far.
I do like this idea for the tournament, even the no magick idea. I think I can finally enter Elara into a tournament... or perhaps Morwen, since Elara is a ranged specialist and there will be no ranged combat. GuardianOni and I had a melee battle sans magick once, it was fun, but got lost after a hack. You do need to learn to be more descriptive and take hits. As for the passive magick abilities, you could always have the person list what abilities the character has so there is no way that they can add anymore after the battle has started. I don't know if no armor at all is a good idea. Perhaps basics, like a pair of studded leather bracers or something. That way there is at least a little help with defending. I agree with Shuyin on the stats thing, it will cause too much bickering, unless you did it like D&D or BESM stats. But yeah, count me in. |

Hell, I've actually only lost once (not counting fights that just died or were lost in post wipes), and that was to Sparda during the Legends Tournament. I have to admit that was probably the greatest battle that I have ever had. I must honestly say that I look forward to fighting you Elyk X, though I don't know exactly how our styles will balance out since we use different systems from what I see (FF vs D&D). | Oh this wasn't even at a drugstore. This was just a stand I passed by while visiting La Bufadora. All it is is colored water, but I guess it makes a great novelty item. I saw warped glass soda bottles labled viagra as well.
Though nothing beat the stand we passed selling Viagra Coladas. That's right, you heard me, viagra coladas. |

| Event Horizon is a bit creepy... little gore in it as well, but it's more the whole idea of it that I find creepy.
I'm pretty sure that the original Japanese version of The Grudge is much better, I know it was the case with The Ring vs. Ringu. I don't know what particular type of horror you'd consider it, but one of the only movies to ever really creep me out was Pet Cemetary. So yeah, there is always that. |
