| ((Damn, forgot to post this last time, in case you hadn't read it....
Dark Soul: This great sword appears to be made of obsidian, and is wreathed in black flames, yet it moves with lightning speed. Forged by Jade herself after mastering her powers, the blade is imbued with both Shadow magick and chaotic energy. The edge is incredibly sharp, and its cuts sting like tiny bits of glass had been imbedded within. It is light for Jade to wield, but none other may touch it without suffering severe burns and then finding out that they cannot lift it. When Dark Soul hits, the flames flare up and out 5 ft, burning the victim with searing flames. )) *Jade clenches her teeth as the edge of the holy slash hit her. She did not have enough time to get out of the way completly, but she could tell that she had only taken a quarter of what she could have taken. The energy burned her flesh on her arm as it cut in, and blood ran freely from the wound for only a moment before it cauterized. She watched Elyk X with a feral gleam in her eyes as he separeted his blade, impressed with it's ability to do so. A smirk played across her face as he asked his question though* "I'd hardly call someone that is two inches taller than me 'little' if I were you. Warrior blood flows in my veins, and it is a call I must heed. That, and I was bored." *Jade flapped her leathery batlike wings a few times and rose into the air as she talked. She continued to rise in the air silently after that, hovering once she reached 50 feet. Slowly the echoing of a chant could be heard from above, her voice speaking words in Elven and the air becoming crisp and cold with the power she drew upon* "Maeg ar' ringwe yelamin lle, coria gurtha." (Sharp and cold I call you, violet death.) *The ground began to frost over slightly, and deep beneath the surface a tremor began. Jade remained focused on her chanting repeating the words over and over, her flaming sword in her hands, held tight against her chest. As moments passed the ground near the surface began to shake as well. The surrounding air now was becoming bitter cold, yet Jade seemed unaffected though she wore only scant barbarian leather and fur. She smiled wickedly as she continued... grateful in moments like these that she had learned to cast spells in Elven, seeing as most people did not understand the language at all, let alone know it existed* |

| I was in my senior year of high school the day it happened. My sister called our house at 6 in the morning and woke us up. I was the one that answered the phone. She told me to turn on the news and that terrorists had attacked the Twin Towers. I woke up my mom and turned on ABC. I watched the second plane hit live on tv. I felt bad for a spilt second, then I didn't care.
I went to school, not caring. I actually wrote this poem/song about not caring. We did no work at all that day in classes. Some teachers had the tv on and we watched the events unfold and talked about it. In our Civics class we talked about what we would do to the terrorists. After that I just watched everyone around me turn suddenly patriotic. It was sickening. It's still sickening. I see these people with flags and "God Bless America" stickers and all this shit... and those damn ribbon magnets for their cars... and all I can think of is "posers, you weren't like that before". I was known for not saying the Pledge in school. I had to be forced to sign a contract to get me to stand for it on the penalty of expulsion. I have my reasons, but I have no respect for America anymore. That is just my feelings, and I don't feel like getting into them. Yes, I feel sorry for the lives lost at the WTC, but it's been 4 damn years, move the fuck on! |

It is good that your ranting about it at least, it's fucking retarded when people ignore you like that all the time. I agree with Kaijin, they really aren't your friends if they treat you that way. In fact, I'd tell them all to fuck off... either that or do something really odd to fuck with their minds and then go off on them for not listening to you. Show up dressed oddly and say you've joined a cult or become a nun or something... or basically dress to the opposite sterotype of what you are (basically, show up really preppy if you're not... or really nerdy if you're preppy). When they ask you why (because they most likely will), just start fucking with them... say you've joined the cheerleading squad or something and if they had paid any attention they would have known. Yeah, it's a petty vengence, but it's fun petty vengence. No cutting! I know first hand what Kaijin is talking about. You gave it up, so you know it too. | *Jade opened her eyes to see her opponent hurtling towards her... and smiled. She began to beat her demonic wings hard, rising and falling five feet with every flap. The chaotic energy surrounding her caused the wind generated by the flapping to swirl into a galeforce wind that headed straight towards Elyk X in hopes of knocking him backwards, as well as sending Jade backwards a good 15 feet. Jade's expression of joy deepened as she cried out the final line of her spell*
"Yala'amin Coriakhelek!" (I summon Purple Ice!) *The shaking ground below cracked and exploded as massive shards of violet-colored ice shot forth from the earth, jutting into the air at a fast rate and impaling many of the members in the first ten foot radius of the audiance. The spikes of ice starting at needle-sharp tips and going to as thick as a large tree trunk at it's base* Purple Ice- Jagged spikes of translucent purple ice jut from the ground in a 50 ft radius of the opponent. The ice freezes fire on contact, so Jade is usually in the air when she uses this to protect her sword. They rise to 20 feet in the air, and sprout out in such thick concentration that it is nearly impossible to get out of them or navigate through them. Jade has done so only once. Whirlwind- Jade can spring into the air and use her wings and Chaos energy to create a powerful gale force windstorm that can knock any opponent to their feet. She usually dive bombs them once they are prone. If she flaps too hard she will knock herself backwards though. |

She held out her hand towards him* "I can at least try, if you want me to. Give it here." *She takes the book and closes her eyes as she places her right hand over the seal. Focusing all of her energy on the seal she willed it to open. Her hand glowed with crackly energy and the seal vanished. Morrighan ran her hand along the cover of the notebook once gently, almost as if in apology, before handing the book to Keira* "What do you hope to find in there?" |
