So I was looking at the banner thread in the help forum and I decided to try my hand at making my own. Photoshop was being a bitch, so I made this in Paint... but it turned out decent in my opinion. What do you guys think?

| It's a start. But I know as well as you do I hope you can take good criticism.
To me it looks like a cut and paste job with little to no "pop" in the banner. I mean, it just looks bland. Now, take out the squares in the banner and have a full background in which you might have yourself a good banner! It's a good start! Maybe when photoshop isn't being a bitch you might be able to make yourself something that might look a little more neat. If you need help feel free to PM me or whatever. I still have fireworks! | That is the main character (Shana) from Shakugan no Shana.
Still trying to find a good enough background to put them on, and fighting with photoshop continues... I mostly wanted to get my basic idea out about potential images and slogan. |
