| I recommend Jacob's Ladder for a weirder one.
I thought Hellraiser II was pretty fun, really cool locations and set designs. It's like the adult Labyrinth haha. The slashers are always good fun... you know what you get with them, but yeah. I like most of the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Halloween III is probably the most insane (funny) one I've seen, you should give that one a look.  |

| I've read Star Wars books this year...
Original Thrawn trilogy, the EU ep7-9 and vastly better than the Disney movies: Heir to the Empire Dark Forces Rising The Last Command - All Timothy Zahn. Can't wait to read more of his stuff. Darth Plageuis = my favorite so far. Holy crap this was incredible and impressively dark/serious for SW. It is 100% dedicated to focusing on two villains and that was freaking awesome. Started up... Labyrinth of Evil, which is the first in the "Dark Lord" trilogy (with the apparently extremely good novelization of Ep3 being the second book). James Luceno did books 1 here and the third one, who also did Darth Plageuis. I can tell this guy is going to be one of my favorite SW authors. |

| That's definitely strange. The newer versions on PS3/Steam here in the US at least give you the option of picking the soundtrack now, so I think it's cool they finally got both. I grew up on the US one (even owned it) but I fond of the E/J OST too. I love both honestly. Then you have a bunch of games that were on both Genesis or Sega CD, or across the SNES and other platforms... I liked how back then OST's could be radically different depending on the hardware, or just straight up re-composed. | |||||||||||

| Have you heard the Green Lantern or Waterworld OST's? Those are really impressive sounding for the SNES. I think a lot of Ocean related games back then were really able to tap into that soundchip and provide excellent samples. Super Turrican for sure.
I know what you mean though. I've grown to appreciate FM / Genesis/MD music more than ever in recent years, since I've been a fan of a few podcasts for awhile now. In the hands of a competent composer and or programmer with their own awesome sound drivers, the Genesis could do some insane stuff. I think Earthworm Jim is a case where I vastly prefer the Genesis OST over the SNES. It's been around. Was lugged around in the trunk of my old car's back in the day when there were Xbox LAN parties and such. It has a whopping 5 AV inputs and specifically, I've wanted to keep it around because it has one S-Video input too. The picture seems a little out of alignment now though. This one was still pre-4K though, so it was like 2016-2017 or something... they're all obviously not worth much but I just keep them around for some reason. I'd like to get an OLED next. | Thanksgiving was fun. Apparently I was supposed to work Thursday though... being on this weird third shift, I don't know what time is anymore. So I don't know yet if I'm in trouble or not, no manager really told me.
So I have no clue what's happening in December. Just hoping to find a new job asap. |

| Stay strong Rogue. I'm no expert, but are you and your family taking Vit-D by chance? I like Joe Rogan's podcast a lot and he's had a few specialists on throughout the months, a lot of them say that's a crucial one to take right now. But we should probably always be taking it, our modern lives don't let us get enough of it.
I started taking Black Elderberry gummies full time this year too. I tried them out last year during the seasonal shifts and it did seem to help stave off colds and stuff. I can say, outside of a random stomach bug or two, I don't think I've really gotten sick at all this year... But yeah, diet, physical activity, all helps for sure. I'm right there with you though. I'm personally not very worried about this for myself, but very cautious if I'm maybe taking it somewhere and I don't want to get family sick. Of course they still want to do the usual gatherings but it'll just be a handful of us. |

| Now for something a bit more annoying, we now have to do some kind of web portal daily symptoms checkup everyday for work. We were already getting temperature checks at the door and the building has gone overkill on social distancing moving tables, shutting off water, banning reusable cups, making us bag up our lunch bags in the fridge, blocking off sink/stalls, I'm not even kidding. | I've talked about this with a few others now and am maybe becoming open to the idea. I'm moving this thread to the General forum in case it maybe gets a little more exposure. I'd like to see others chime in on it.
I don't like using FB thesedays but one thing keeping me from deleting it off my phone is that it's still one of the only channels I have to still communicate with some members here. I have a few of you on Steam and whatnot spread out. So centralizing all this on Discord could probably be cool. |

I played Act 1 myself on the PS4 (Pro)... and then got the refund. 
I built a new gaming rig recently, 3800X, 32GB 3600 DDR4, RTX 2060... etc so I think I should be able to run it decently enough on that! I'll have to buy it again on PC sometime this year, but I'm still kind of waiting for a few more patches I think. Even though yeah it sounds 10x better than the console versions. |

| Very cool LA. I actually just built two new PC's... replaced my old Win7 one from 2013 in my room. Went a little cheaper on that one but it's still future proof too. And I had a GTX 1060 for that which is still pretty dang solid. I couldn't score an RTX 3080 like I wanted, but I think the 2060 should still be good for awhile.
PC2 - very expensive since I got a big new monitor, a desk, everything for next gen gaming in my living room. PC3 - many same parts just kind of cheaper older variants, so I built this thing way faster since it was super similar heh. I have an Asus VG248QE for this one, along with an old 4:3 Dell and my HDTV for triple monitors. It was kind of crazy on my Win7 PC with the 2060 early last year, I was able to play Doom Eternal on high settings at 1080p. But yeah, the CPU was starting to hold things back and I was getting some freezes if I was doing too much. It was an i5-3470 I think, something around that. Annnnnd yeah, was finally time to move on from Win7 I guess.
Funny enough, I haven't really pushed PC2 to any limits at all though. Of all things, I just got back to playing the Halo collection on PC, lol. But I did pickup Metro Exodus during the Steam winter sale, so I think that'll be the first game that can really showcase what my rig can do I hope. But yeah, instantly burned my stimulus... and then some. But I got over 7 years out of my first build, so I expect another long run with these! I even ordered a SecretLab Omega chair too.
