| This looks FREAKING AMAZING!!!
I loved the Twisted Metal games, my favourite being World Tour (I think this was just the second game, but got an extra subtitle in Europe for whatever reason, not entirely sure). Kind of a shame I probably won't see Axel or Twister... My favourites. 
But the faction thing sounds like a pretty fun idea for multiplayer. Especially nuke, looks incredibly involved. |

Since it really doesn't matter, it's all just symbolic bullshit anyway, and if they're stopped from doing something as pathetic as burning a few books, they're just going to move onto more extreme stuff anyway. I was never a big fan of the second one, although the first was pretty damn good. Its free roam is pretty pathetic though, it'd be nice to see an even more expanded game world to traverse. I don't like the sound of the weapon system... Sounds like one of Pete's many strange ideas that he bigs up a lot but it adds very little to the game. Like the character changing appearance from Fable 1, or the whole more involved marriage feature in Fable 2. I loved finding my Wellow's Pickhammer and just owning the shit out of EVERYTHING with it! Had to chow down on ten baby chicks to get that damn thing, but holy hell was it worth it! |

| Been playing this for a while already, and feel it's far superior to MW2.
The maps are well designed for such extreme numbers of players, it seems to cope well online even with my occasionally crappy internet, and it's one of the few FPS games I can actually get some kills playing online! Plus I much prefer the weapon, item and armour selection, it seems a lot more balanced overall. Helps that it's a dedicated online game rather than a lacking single player game with a multiplayer stuck on it. Can't remember what class I picked though, although I've got a feeling I'm a part of VALOR. |

| Team Fortress 2 - 11 years in the making
Starcraft 2 - 12 years in the making Duke Nukem Forever - 13 years in the making There's a kind of trend going on here that I'm liking the look of. While I've yet to play SC2, I loved TF2, and many people I know like SC2... Maybe it's like an old wine or whiskey or something. You leave them in a dark cellar for fifty years before eventually opening them. I just hope Gearbox know what they're doing... And don't end up putting in CL4P-TP, but you can call him by his locally designated name, Clap-Trap! Holy hell they knew how to make an annoying character... I remember seeing gameplay footage from a while ago, it looked amazing, and if those scenes aren't still in the game when I eventually go out, buy this, play the shit out of it ten times then return to Mass Effect, I'm gonna be unhappy. |

| 360's good points - Has a large variety and number of games, nicest game controllers of ANY console EVER, had Mass Effect 1 first. (That's more a personal point, but I have it on PC now so it hardly matters)
360's bad points - Has very few decent exclusives (Only franchises that come to mind are Gears of War and Halo), expensive online (In comparison to the alternatives), expensive hardware and peripherals (even third party), and until the most recent money grabbing scheme have been a loud ass vacuum cleaner to suck in all the room's dust so it can eventually overheat and red ring. Oh, and you need to rebuy your 360 if you wanna play Kinect. Or at least needs you to get an extra attachment or something stupid. PS3 good points - A much better library of exclusive games (InFamous, LittleBIGPlanet, God of War series, Metal Gear Solid 4, ModNation Racers etc.), a nicer and more functional main screen (XMB is far superior to whatever the heck 360 uses with its Mii-looking avatar things and floaty boxes), games get updated fairly frequently, Mass Effect 2 is being released on it. PS3 bad points - Apparently the online is much worse than the 360's... At least it's free for bad online gaming, even if I've not had one problem with PS3's online but my brief 2 day trial in XBLive was riddled with a hundred problems just trying to access one game of Halo 3. There's also apparently something about the price, but I always have to remind everyone that once you add on the cost of a rechargable battery pack for the controllers, the wireless adaptor, HD-DVD player (Since it doesn't have bluray, awww) and etc. you end up spending about the same money, if not more for the 360. This is why I bought a PS3 and loads of games and tried to sell my 360. Most 360 games get released to be played on my uber awesome cheap gaming desktop, which just pulls through with everything on highest with most games so it looks even better than the console games. Especially ones that, for whatever reason, don't support anything about 720p resolution. Terrible in comparison to a 2048x1152 res I get on most PC games. PS3 exclusives generally STAY exclusive. Which is bad for me wanting to play everything on PC I 'spose, but the decent exclusives are worth having another console for. |

| I can't access the IRC chat at all... I keep getting some java.lang.Error: Unable to load interface pixx: java.lang.SecurityException : trusted loader attempted to l... Then it all cuts off because the window isn't big enough.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Perhaps IRC server information would be good so I can just use XChat or mIRC or something. |

| XChat is pretty simple to setup, I'll post a little tutorial on it sometime. It comes up with a list straight away which you can add the Xeogaming IRC server info in. As far as I know it's quite similar to mIRC just without a bajillion options I never needed to use.
EDIT XChat Instructions Step 1: First, click the 'add' button to add a new network to the list. Rename this to something memorable, in my case, it was Xeogaming. 
Step 2: Click the edit button to bring up this next screen. On this, click on 'newserver/6667' then click the Edit button. 
Step 3: Change the details to the following. Put #xeogaming as your favourite channel so it starts up the moment you connect, assuming you don't have any other reason to be on the server.

| Dark Souls is now of my all time favourite games.
The challenge, the setting, the gameplay, the bosses, it's all so good! I don't think I've ever felt more satisfied after beating a painfully tough boss, or in some cases even just an enemy in the case of the Black Knights in the early game. I've only played it through once so far, nearly finished a new game plus, hoping to finish a good PvP build for some fun multiplayer fights! |
