BoardC is an AcmlmBoard-like forum software which is intended to be a Jul AcmlmBoard 1.xx cleanup by Kak. Although no work has been done since the end of 2016, it seems to work pretty well to my testing.

Known bugs:

BBCode doesn't seem to work properly but HTML is supported so that's fine
Forum list editor doesn't work

Otherwise it's pretty stable software as running on apache2.2, php 5.6 and mysql 5.6. I suggest you to check it out, I'm thinking of hosting the code on github because I'm running a community using it and might let people there make changes to the code, if any of you would take interest in reviving the project it would be nice.

Yeah, it'd be cool if he did because I'm having struggles trying to port AB1 themes to BoardC since different classes for things.

I also made a GitHub repository for unofficial, open contributions which will be added to my own board. Kak has discontinued BoardC so he could work on Jul's official repository, apparently, which is a shame, however I'm hoping that any PHP coders that find my board can help out (as well as anyone looking at this thread...)

It also gives me the urge to learn PHP as quickly as possible though I don't want to lack skill by rushing...

Not sure if AB1.92 conversion is possible, but it might be compatible somewhat, although this is a heavily modified version...

Lol, that's because of extensions. Firefox literally copies whatever Chrome does nowadays and now they're taking away normal FF extensions for web extensions to annoy everyone even more.

Currently setting up an emulated/flash game portal on my site under /gamebox which actually is going rather well so far. Shame flash is being discontinued in 2020 but there will be probably open-source alternatives which will work.

Surprised you don't really come on here much considering this forum is like a small, but open-to-all little corner for everyone.

In case you have one lying around I suppose, and want to make some use of it. I also made this thread to add some fresh discussions since I notice not much goes on in the gaming section
I have a Chinese clone controller and it works fine with this xD

It should also work with the S but I'm not sure

Firefox has had memory leak issues since like version 12 or so

And WinAMP is cool for the plugins, I use it for this

Yeah the Xbox was a pretty powerful system, I think its architecture was similar to mid-powered PCs of its time or so. Or maybe I'm thinking of the 360.

Edge isn't too bad of a browser if you look past the fact that there aren't many extensions. Microsoft actually started making half-decent browsers with IE 8, improved upon it with 9, and then excelled in 10 and 11 IMO. Even a friend who hates IE admits IE11 is alright.

Just thought I'd share this, heh, since I've seen other people do the same and I'm not here just to advertise stuff so it should be fine.

Here's the link.

The games section is almost completely empty at the moment except for a few empty directories, and there is no informative pages right now, but I'm working on it. :3

There's also a forum which is running ABXD 3.0, a modern-styled yet AcmlmBoard-like forum software which has been inactive since 2014 (with unofficial mods by me and a user MoonlightCapital).

I completely designed this myself except for the background assets and it's intended to be simplistic as it gets, really.

Nothing much but it is a place I call 'home' xD

I haven't started PHP yet. However sometimes I do check the official reference manual on PHP.net as a guide. I'll maybe ask the community about it.

For HTML/CSS I refer to Mozilla's developer site and W3Schools.

My site apparently only has 1 HTML error which is to do with the placement of a TD tag, and the encoding was warned about (using Windows-1252 instead of UTF-8) according to W3C's validator.
