| I may sound like one who thinks everything is a conspiracy, so be kind to my words please, because I'm not.
But, there's always more. Always. For the simple fact, and I'm sure our military personel here will agree with me, but there are just some things that say, a very small handful in our country know and will ever know. It's like that all around the world. It's how its run. And that's okay with me. There are just some things that would freak me out unless I had a doctorate degree in oh, quantum physics?  And for what? For all the threats that have been made...issues that have come up, that never even happened? |

| Katie stopped and turned to answer Crystle. Before she opened her mouth to reply, her head snapped in Sarah's direction.
"He's not a barbarian!" She exclaimed, narrowing her eyes angrily. "And what the hell is a goddamned Dreck?!" She blinked, wishing more than ever she could take back her outburst. She put the key into the ignition, trying with all her might to keep her hands from trembling. She almost began to say something, but didn't know what to say. She knew Sarah had not said a word, and she was still unclear on the method of communication she and Sync used. She knew, she just...she almost didn't want to believe anything. | For the record, about the DC and Marvel thing...
James Marsdon would be a smaller point, since he actually played a superhero (Cyclops) for Marvel, while not so much a superhero in his DC movie "Superman." Halley Berry however, is a much stronger example. Her Marvel thing was, as you all know, Storm, but (beware, it may burn everyone's eyes to read what I'm about to say) she also played Catwoman for....Yuppers...DC. Oh, and...I like Ryan Reynolds... 
But I can see him playing an excellent Deadpool. Wade is very sarcastic and quirky, and I think Ryan has that. Also, and don't quote me on this one, but I think they're going to ignore the Deadpool from Weapon X. Reynolds has said in interviews and such that he was a sincere Deadpool fan and would love nothing more than to stick as close as possible to the actual comics. (And c'mon guys, give these things a little break. Comics and movies are two different forms of media. Each has their own form of restrictions and plus sides, so it won't be EXACTLY the same.) |

Working on your birthday sucks. I did it for my 19th, and 20th. Didn't for my 21st, but bars aren't really my thing anyway. >.o Sorry you were too tired. You'll be 21 for an entire year though...what's the point of celebrating an age if you only have one day? |

"I really couldn't tell you how many there are. It's such a fleeting feeling, I don't even believe it half the time...other times it's clearly misdirected, but whoever caused the disturbance is long gone. Either that or that's simply a case of a person not knowing what they're doing." She paused in her statement to slow down her vehicle and keep an eye on a spot to pull into to begin her search for John. "I suppose those are unwilling takeovers? Or something like it maybe. Like a person's body gets so tired that they lose it for a brief moment, forcing whatever it is to make an appearance." She shrugged it off, speaking as though their entire conversation had been nothing but common knowledge. Listen to me... she thought to herself. **looks around** **sighs** So busy! All of us! Most of those posting in this thread were all the most active people when I first joined and became obsessed with this place. Haha. At the moment, I'm not AS busy as I will be...this is kinda the calm before the storm. See, I just got a second job. So I'm now working GameStop AND Bath and Body Works. The second job isn't so bad so far, and quite frankly, I was so desperate for a second job that I jumped on the first place that hired me. Just started school. Finally the film major I've always wanted to be...well...Cinema/Video is what the kids are calling it nowadays. Only working two or three days a week at the moment. I put in for limited availability at GameStop so I can finish the training period at the other job unadultured. My boss at GameStop is a good guy and works well with his employees...but the good/shitty thing about B&BW is that the manager there does her scheduling every three weeks. Which is awesome for me now, since retail isn't really about set scheduling so much. So, I'll know for an entire three weeks what I'm doing at one job, which gives me ample time to let my other job know my availability. Long story short, once I'm officially on schedule at B&BW, I'm looking to be working 5 days a week, my only days off being Wednesdays and Thursdays, since I don't get done classes until late those days. Then school Monday through Friday. Doesn't really sound like much when I put it that way, but come Black Friday, I will hate life until the end of January. Besides, the whole having two jobs doesn't REALLY do me any justice at the moment. I'm still only looking to work 25 hours a week or so...but come the Summer, or my month of Winter Break...even the week of Spring Break, I could be pulling 60 hours a week or so, anticipating about 30 between each job. I already have the seniority at GameStop for my guaranteed 30 hours those times...and the other job is taking me in as management (part of why training is taking two weeks, not just the first...two weeks with limited number of shifts that is.) So yeah...good thing for having a course syllabus...I'm using this week and possibly next week to just get as far ahead with school as I can. **shrugs** |

And Cairoi...maybe...just maybe, if you answered your damned texts and we could figure out a time and place to meet up....I could read your gorram book!! And insane robot may be true...but that's poor insane robot to you.  Just went to the dentist today and had to shell out 110 bucks that I didn't have...so now I'm in yet another hole...which going into detail about would be like preaching to the choir. I think everyone here knows what that's like, so my situation is no worse.
I'm just watching what having kids young did to my family. Taking full advantage of my state of non-motherhood and getting as much done as I possible can.  |

| Let's just say I spent 90 dollars on a prom dress, wore it for my junior, senior proms, AND went to a friend's senior prom the year after mine. So...45 bucks per prom, plus one free wear.
Other than that...I just bought two sweater dresses....10 bucks a piece. Whenever I need jeans...I go to a store called Charlotte Russe...sadly only place I have easy access to that makes jeans that aren't too long for me...I go to other stores, pick jeans that say "short" and my size, put 'em on, and they're STILL too long...fuckers. Spent 70 bucks on sneakers though....3 years ago...and not needing a new pair anytime soon. I'm cheap as hell. And Rogue, you shoulda beaten the shit outta them after they proved the pants were that cheap. Not right for people to falsely accuse you of something like that....those fuckers. |

Since he pays tuition out of pocket as well as loans, he's nice enough to offer to buy the iPod and give it to me. No real loss or gain for him. Technically, it's a free iPod. But yeah...like I said in the 300 buck thread...I'm cheap as hell. I wouldn't pay for something just for the name. Now, don't get me wrong, if I didn't know better, and didn't have ANY type of mp3 player, I probably would have bought an iPod. |

| "...to God I commend my soul." She says, her voice holding up much more steadily than she thought herself capable. With one last look at the people...once her people...she knelt down before the executioner's block.
With one glance over her right shoulder, she caught a glimpse of the man who was to end her life. She smiled meekly, knowing, that somehow, despite the black mask over his head, that he returned the gesture. Her maids around her were sobbing. She too, wished she could sob as they, but her pride was too strong, even in the face of death. She closed her eyes, hands relaxing at her sides, as she was not bound, and began to whisper "To Jesus Christ I comment my soul. Lord Jesus receive my soul..." The moment seemed to last forever, until suddenly she felt searing pain throughout her entire body. She held her breath as the pain jolted throughout her until she felt as though she would be torn from limb to limb. This must be what it is to die... she thought desperately to herself. Until finally...it was over. She felt herself hit the ground hard, knocking the wind right out of her. Still, she dared not open her eyes. She listened. Silence. She waited. The pain was subsiding. Slowly, she opened her eyes, only to find herself sprawled out on the ground. Her dark gray dress tattered, showing much more of her red petticoat than before. She quickly placed a hand to her head, feeling first for her white bonnet, tying her long, dark hair about her head...then, slowly realizing what she had felt. Her head. However, her uncertainty of being grateful or horrified was short lived as she spotted the world around her. Her people, gone. The executioner, gone. The block....the sword...the crying ladies...everything...all of it...gone. In it's place was debris of a world far beyond her recognition. And with that, Anne Boleyn let out a gut wrenching scream. |

| Kit smirked as she found her way to the seat offered to her. She sat back, crossing her legs, the hem of her dress slowly riding up an inch or so, displaying more of her thigh than before.
"So uh...don't they usually set some coffee and doughnuts on the table for these kinds of things?" Kit asked obnoxiously. Natalie flinched. She turned to Alden and shot him a look that would terrify any man. "I'll get you for this..." she mouthed very slowly...very deliberately to him. She then turned her attention back toward Kit. Clearing her throat, she said, exercising as much patience as she could muster. "Coffee and doughnuts are not standard, and are irrelevant to the task at hand. All you have to do is sit there, quietly, and observe what passes between Jack and I." Natalie turned to Alden, straightening her posture, showing her triumph over her own demons of impatience. From behind Natalie's back, Kit just stuck out her tongue and crossed her arms. --------------------------------------------------- Holly looked over at Tysha, a sad expression upon her face. The usual comment would have been "I'm sorry." but Holly always thought it was a pathetic thing to say. "I'm sure you'll figure all of this out eventually." She announced. "Until then...just relax and enjoy yourself. You have friends here and people who care very deeply about you. Everything will be alright." |

Katie said goodbye to Crystle and Sarah as she dropped each of them off. "Bastard..." she said aloud through gritted teeth. She was alone and thus free to express the feeling of worry and frustration she harbored toward her missing friend. She made her way home, nonetheless. As she walked into the door, she was greeted by a disgruntled sibling. "Skipped again?" Katie's sister asked. "What's it to you?" she grumbled as she made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. She didn't even leave time to hear her sister's reply before she closed her door and locked it. Dropping her bag on the floor, she made her way over toward her bed. Draping herself across it, she pulled aside the blind to peer out the window. Despite the room being the smallest, it was the best location. Several times she had been offered one of the bigger rooms, only to decline. The view from this window was one of the most soothing sights she had ever beheld. She could get lost in the view for hours... To Katie, it felt as though she only blinked, unbeknownst to the time that was actually passing. The next thing she knew, she was in what felt like a dreamlike state, only there was nothing around her...total darkness...except for the voice. "T'will be a night to make you believe..." a cool voice cooed. "What the hell?" Katie expressed out loud to herself. The next thing she knew, as though she only had to blink once again, Katie found herself in uncharted territory. "A...dream...?" She mused, glancing about. But before she could say anything else, Katie suddenly found herself to be the center of attention. As she got her bearings straight, Katie got a good look at her surroundings. It was...nothing like she had ever seen before. Well...in books and dreams, she supposed. It was like a medieval fairytale. Around her was a bustling crowd, and to the horizon, was a castle...one of the most beautiful sights her eyes had ever laid eyes on...there were armored men...well dressed ladies...and everything else in between....swords and weapons she did not recognize... And I'm the one being gawked at?! she thought incredulously to herself. "A dream..." She murmured, only this time it was a statement, not a question. Convinced she was in a dream, Katie willed herself to put one foot in front of the other, hoping that she would soon wake, as she wandered the unfamiliar surroundings... |

| Holly smiled. "When was the last time you paid a visit to the Dome?" She asked. With that, she picked up the empty tea cups and put them in her sink. She quickly went into her bedroom and picked out her brush and combed through her long, straight black hair. As she brushed, she couldn't help but giggle to her reflection. She still looked like a child. Her skin was still soft and pale, and her eyes still pure blue.
How will ANYone ever take me seriously? she thought, nearly letting out a giggle to herself. Finally she emerged from her bedroom, took Tysha gently by the arm and tugged her along. "Let's wait outside for Seifer. I'm sick of waiting so far away and helplessly...at least this time let's be closer to the action." Natalie looked at Jack approvingly, but mentally willed him to say no more until Alden left. She then glanced over at Alden, waiting for him to heed their warning. Kit, however, yawned impatiently. |

| Katie turned with more speed than she thought she had. Grace too, since she wasn't falling all over the place as usual...
Her eyes were narrowed in an angry glare, and her fists were up and ready. As she turned, what she saw surprised even herself. She didn't visually recognize the man who called her by her name, yet...she knew him. "Whatever you did with Cody..." She spat angrily, the mental capacity to connect this man with Cody surprising even herself. "I'm going to kick your ass if he isn't safe." She continued, not letting her clenched fists drop. It was then that she heard it. That soft, almost sensual sound. A giggle. Without taking her eyes off of Kaijin, she felt around her surroundings, a strange thing she always had an affinity for. I'll make a believer out of you yet, child... the voice cooed. "Dahlia..." Katie whispered the name, oddly familiar as it crossed her lips. |
