I think both of them are excellent. I especially like the Gohan one. And that's okay about looking at a picture to draw that...to be honest, I can't draw ANYTHING without looking at a picture, and even then I suck.

You guys are sooo lucky to be able to go to those things... I'd LOVE to! Though we to have the Otakon(sp?) here in Baltimore this August I believe...I can't go to that though. It's maybe a 4 hour drive away and I soooo would!!! But I don't have enough people here that would go with me, and the ones that would..teehee...we don't have our liscences...and I'm not allowed to drive illegally anymore...

I get picked on like crazy...well not TOO TOO bad in high school...Freshman and sophomore years were the worst though. To be honest....violence has always been my answer... It's to the point now where if someone hits me, people tackle ME first before taking the other person away... I have ZERO tolerance for that kinda shit. **nods**

Kaijin't right about the whole fear thing though...Just don't be too cocky...that I've done . Just be confident...if you're scared they'll wanna pick on you, and if you're too cocky, they'll wanna knock you off that high horse...

That's true about the waterproof thingie with the trash bags...I used to do stuff like that when I was little and went out to play in the snow.

What kinda sets me off are people like my little sister. She has like 10 pairs odf shoes that she bought within this year alone...okay, fine...but they're all 50$+ shoes.

**shrugs** I honestly can see buying an expensive pair of shoes...foot care is more important than people realize actually...and it all depends on where you live or what kind of job you have or something...ya know? Like my brother-in-law has to buy 75$+ boots once a year, sometimes even more depending on how good of a pair he gets, but he's an iron worker and needs them. Other than that he wears 10$ shoes, that he gets over a year out of them because he takes care of them.

Other than that, like just to stay with trends, or for no apparent reason...I just don't see the point in buying 50$ shoes....

I'd have to say that I agree with Clockworkz on this you guys...Speilberg made them pretty damn close to how they are in the book. You never know, Halo could've gotten the inspiration from the book, ya know? Eitherway, it doesn't matter how he got it, because nearly everything has inspiration from somewhere, ya know?

I saw it opening day. **shrugs** I just happened to have gotten lucky to see it so soon. First showing on opening day to be exact. lol.

Anywho...I liked it. Yes I have my complaints, but I still liked it at the same time, ya know? I just wish that Speilberg stuck to the original story more than he did. Tom Cruise was a lot better in this movie than I thought he'd be (I actually like him, I just didn't think he'd fit this kinda movie AT ALL)...but that still doesn't mean that I thought he did an excellent job.

I'm a bit more critical of this movie than I usually am because Stephen Speilberg is like my idol and this happens to be a re-make. Otherwise I wouldn't be so critical had someone else directed it. Though at the same time I really liked it. Go figure.

The neat thing about Batman is...Bruce Wayne is a cool character in general, I think. It's not like he's some superhero with a whimpy alter-ego (Though I don't think Clark Kent was whimpy, he was just smart and liked messing with Louis Lane's head ^^;;. So yeah. The cool thing is, yeah, he's rich and all, but still a cool guy...and C'mon...you gotta love Alfred...and the man does deserve to be paid, so Bruce being so damned rich works out.

I'm pretty sure that this is a rumor...**shrugs** As much as I love ATHF, I don't think enough people like it enough for it to be made into a movie or anything...**shrugs** If they are making a movie, then I'll be suprised. I'd also expect it to be out sometime in January or Feburary...that's when they usually put out the least popular movies. **shrugs**

I'll just wait for Spyware to get back and see what he thinks of it...teehee...

**shrugs** Wasn't sure if this should be a topic of it's own, or should go with the "Summer Solstice" thread...

Anywho...now that school is out and summer is here...what's everyone's plans?

I plan on working this summer. Already got two jobs that are a definite. One is a part-time job at the Game Stop, and the other is working at some nursing home. The nursing home is fun, I've been there a few times to give it a try...all I'll be doing pretty much is keeping the old people company and stuff. They're all really sweet people too and I love hearing all their stories and such. I did apply for another job, but now I'm not sure if I'm going to get it. Long story and off topic to the thread.

Otherwise I'll just be doing my usual...running the house, taking care of the kids, goofing off online, hanging out with friends, and going down the shore occasionally. Though I also have a goal...dunno what it is exactly...but without school in the way, getting lots and lots of posts has suddenly become fun again. I got lazy during the school year...

So....what about everyone else? Any big vacations planned or anything?

Hmmm....**thinks for a moment** I don't know if they'd count really, because I don't do anything spectacular really...but I usually recycle things that I have...as in if something was made with a lot of wood, but it lost its purpose, I'd use the wood to build a shelf or something...Otherwise I haven't really thought about making personal mods.

I got this E-mail about 2 years ago and to be honest I almost believed it. Cyro's right about them not thinking out out...the whole "chain letter" part of it is what killed it. **shrugs** Besides, I've gotten it several times since then, and I never did send it to people. Heh, not even the first time I got it...and guess what? AIM never crashed on me or anything

Though...I am half tempted to send it to some people I know who hang onto every word of that stuff...scare them a bit and make them send it off for no reason...Teehee. **grins innocently**
